It is. Capcom made a fighting game adaptation of it. It's where the "ZA WARUDO" meme comes from.

CAPCOM MADE ONE OF THE BEST FIGHTING GAMES EVER ABOUT IT. There was a sequel of sorts, or a second game based on the series but it never came to the US, sadly. I'd like to see another Jojo game as well.

I don't carry anything around with me but I once found a four leaf redwood sorrel, much like a clover they generally have only three leaves. I pressed it in a book and forgot about it. I think my cousin did something with it, I'm not sure... =\

Here's a picture of what redwood sorrel looks like...

Going back to the Street Fighter franchise, I think that T-Hawk is also really, really lame. I mean... if I even have to explain, then you don't know Street Fighter. Seriously, look at this tool, look at his "fighting stance," look at the completely innaccurate, stereotyped costume. He looks like some rascist characature of a native american.

Your sentence structures are awesomely varied, which makes the reading smooth and without pause. You also seem to be very aware of your wording and are careful not to become repetitious. Along those lines, the words, idioms and phrases that you use are perfect for what they're describing. And you do this without delving into a vocabulary-oriented writing style that wouldn't fit the mood. In addition, you gathered humor and insight and mixed them together to create something that's gets the reader strongly connected to the piece. So, bravo.

Thanks a lot, I appreciate the feedback. I'm very pleased that you felt that way. =]

This is something a wee bit different. A sort of freeform poem, more of less a work in progress. As always comments and critique are appreciated.

Untitled:

I fold in on myself like origami
smaller and smaller
smaller
there is only a grain of me
what once was a man
is a speck of dust
.
and then it happens
.
first comes the flash
second, the wind
hot and fast
intense
the wind sweeps everything away
the dust
the leaves
the stones
the water
it tears trees from the earth
all are thrown to the heavens
all is burned to ash
.
I am but an atom
but a nothing emanates from me
a nothing more powerful than what was before
the ash burns
the nothing burns
and when it is over
what is left
is beautiful

Response to: Animals = yummy? Posted March 16th, 2010 in General

Well, I'm going to say that as animals it's something we've been doing throughout our evolution. There never had been a time, in the opinion of an evolutionist, that we would have had to decide on what we should be eating. It's not like we just plopped down on Earth (again, in my opinion) and had to figure out what we needed to do to survive.

Response to: Art Forum Lounge Posted March 16th, 2010 in Art

on the subject of developing a style

Like I said in your thread, it should come naturally as you create, your style will always be developing and it takes a lifetime to define. Look at Picasso, Matisse, Munch, anyone, they were always changing, almost searching for the right style over their entire lifetime, and that's exactly how long it takes.

I don't think there is or ever has been any (good) artist who has felt comfortable with his or her style and stopped wanting to improve it.

Response to: Find my own style Posted March 16th, 2010 in Art

All you need to do is art. Crit is important and you should learn from it, but no one can tell you how to develop your own style, that (should) just come naturally as you improve.

In other news: ..::hint::..

Also, we can possibly help you, but you need to post some art here in the art forum.... so do that if you make a new thread or ask about it in the lounge.

Thanks, and have a beautiful day. =]
