Ugh, I hate what I have here so far. Comments, criticism?
I had some more brainwashy effects but it lagged really bad, so now I'm not sure of how to illustrate brainwashing... =\
Maybe I was being a bit too harsh, there are a lot of people (and I mean a LOT of people) who come to this forum fully expecting that everyone is going to jump all over their idea, do all the work for them and it will gain a permanant slot in the top fifty. Which is unrealistic to say the least.
I can see that you can draw well and hopefully you can animate too. But the truth is the kind of people who would join a project like this tend to be the sort of people that lack the neccesary skills to produce good flash.
I hope you succeed, but like I said earlier, if you have your own portfolio of work out there, you are more likely to get peoples attention and get a positive result.

When all you skilled flash artists create your flash animation, do you put down a grid or anything before starting on the outline?
Grid? No.
Do you get bored in the middle of working on your flash animation? Personally, this is what kills most of my work, extreme boredom.
I get frustrated more than I get bored. If something isn't working out the way I want I tend to not finish it.
And do you use more of FBF or tween?
I use a lot of tweens, I (usually) want to tell a story and not draw the same things over and over... I was starting to put more FBF in my movies, but it just isn't what I'm into right now.
Finally, I was wondering how many flashes you people out there trash?
I have only totally abandoned a small handful of projects. I keep most of them on life support waiting for me to get back to them.
You have a rather lofty ambition. I suggest you work on your own portfolio first. People aren't going to be lining up to create your idea if you have no skills and bring basically nothing to the table. Ideas are everywhere, animators are not.

It was destroyed by the Newgrounds community for totally (and I mean TOTALLY) ripping NG off within minutes of it's discovery. It was a moment enjoyed by all.
If you look around you can find other shitty Flash portals, but Newgrounds was the first and is the best.

wait, what?
PROS: Nifty looking 3d vehicles. Good chase scene.
CONS: Sound quality was awful. No real plot. No scenery.
2.5 out of 5.

as far as uploading a video onto Newgrounds, would I be able to upload a .swf? It seems I'm able to vew the .swf just fine from a browser.
.swf's are the only thing you can upload to Newgrounds.

Then do a search for ALL .swf files. Entert *.swf in the search bar.

Are you using filters on the text and other objects that are not appearing?
To me it sounds like your stand-alone Flash player is out of date. I'm not sure how you can fix that, apart from re-installing Flash, but you can work around it by always viewing your Flash in an .html document, as long as your browser plug-in is up to date.

Also; what does this have to do with Flash?

Are you an ugly loser? I mean there are tons of thingsyou could be doing other than Flash, but there you are; making Flash. Not only that but your posting about it in an on-line forum. Sex doesn't have anything to do with any artistic medium. So knock it off with your sexism.
I think it's just that you're on a male dominated site. If you were to, say, go to deviantArt and look at flash animations you'd see a much different ratio.

I know advertising like this is right, but please do check it out and post on what you think.
Keep up the good work.
Thank you, much appreciated.
I think your ball point drawings are pretty sweet, I like the idea that every line you lay down is going to stay there, as it does with ball point. You should check out dA's Ballpoint Pen Club. Even though it hasn't been updated in quite awhile some of the stuff there is amazing.

Thank you Luis. Useless Boy is probably the one I'm least ashamed of. Actually, I'm kind of proud of it...

You have room to improve on pretty much everything. The things that bugged me the most were the backgrounds inside the classroom, the "magic" special effects (like the purple fireball thingy) the mouth movements and the short sound loops.
It would survive the portal, I think, but I don't see it doing very well. =/

2
-rating out of 5 if this had voice acting, optional subtitles, and a preloader
2.5?
Last time I wrote more and people didn't read my post. Thank you for your time.
You're welcome. =]
Why not just post the problems you're having here in the forum?
Surely there are more people who'd want to help and will respond that way then some private IM session with another user.
Audio optimization. Bumping your kbps to 32 or higher should fix the loss of sound quality.

^put that on the frame you want the music to stop on.
You could do that but you can also change the sound setting (at the bottom of the screen in "properties") from "event" to "stream" and you can choose the exact point on the timeline you want it to stop by inserting a new keyframe.
This may be a stupid question but why do you need a programmer, skilled though he may be, for a parody play?
And does your artist realize how much work you're asking of him?

Not as good as the first, a different style I suppose. It works but needs more depth.

Also: attach images using the attachment bar at the bottom when posting, it's more fun for us to read than just seeing a link.
