That's the most depressing thing I've read all day. How the Hell do you capture someones attention and interest when all their energy is focused on what's coming next...? People need to learn to slow down and appreciate the aesthetics of things.

@OP: These kinds of threads do not work, the artists on here are already invested in their own projects and your idea is far from the best. The Flash forum posters/browsers, like people in the real world, do not work for free, especially for someone they don't know. If you really think your idea is gold and if you have Flash as was implied in your second post in this thread, do it yourself. Put in the time and effort of making your own movie, you're probably shit at Flash because you opened it up and couldn't figure out what to do and you discovered that your art is bad. So go read the help files in Flash, maybe watch a few tutorials and try your best to make your idea into an animation. If you suck at Flash after that keep practicing until you don't. Everyone of us has been where you are, the only difference is we didn't give up.

Here's the rub. We do not allow requests in the art forum, and competitions have to be approved by a mod. Additionally You can not start a new thread without original art.

Finally; $25 for three hours of work is nothing for a good graphic artist or animator.

Damnit, I told you when you posted this in Flash to read and follow the art forum rules before posting it. I wasn't just saying that to be a good citizen and trying to model good behavior, I said that because art forum regs will gladly murder your soul and grind it to a fine powder so that they can snort it like coke off of a hookers ass.

Go to the art forum for this kind of thing. MAKE SURE YOU READ THE ART FORUM RULES BEFORE YOU POST, I cannot emphasize this enough, read and follow those rules or the regs will tear you to shreds.

Well it's kind of hard to judge it on those few seconds, at first I thought that is was just a crappy stick animation (which it was) but that turns out to be the title sequence, which is a terrible idea. Don't put the crappiest part of your animation first, people will see the stick figure and his jerky motion and close the window and vote zero as fast as they can. Portal watchers do not take the time to view the whole thing if it looks like shit for the first ten seconds.

No matter what program you use, Adobe Flash CS3 included, you are indeed going to waste a lot of time making Flash that no one would want to watch. Fact of life, it will take a long time to get to the point where people will tolerate your animations.

Do you have legal representation? You shouldn't have been charged before consulting an attorney. The cops always blow stuff out of proportion, it the way it works so that you can plea down to some lesser charge, and hopefully after you're done with community service and probation you can have it expunged from your record. But that doesn't matter much since you're a minor.

Now I'm not one for lighting things on fire but good luck anyway.

Okay, number one: you didn't post art in your first post, you posted links to some crappy videos. Number two: No requests in the art forum, this is not where you ask people for their art, this forum is for posting your own art and to constructively criticize the art of others. These things and more can be found here.
