So.. i'm in a bit of trouble with scripting. I want to do on my owm a fighting game with two players, but i'm having a bit of trouble with the script. So far I can make my characters move, jump, crouch, punch [kick], crouch punch, crouch kick, jump punch and jump kick. What I would need would be how to make them run, have health bars, the selection screen and many more :( Please.. could anyone help me..
It's really my dream to finish this game and I've been working on it for some time now.. :( Could anyone please help me?
I'm not searching for someone to help me copy+paste, I want to learn a thing or two.. some tricks and I really want to finish the game.. :(

Thanks for the advice.. I'm not looking for some to help me copy+paste some codes here and there.. I want to learn so I can make better games.. I am in the makeing of a flash game [adventure] in wich the battle is turn based.. i need an actionscript for the person who is fighting and the AI .. please help me :( .. i managed to make the map, characters and other.. all is left is the battle engine.. :( i will credit [with userpage :3] anyone who helps..
