Found it.

For Opera users, add http://img.ngfiles.com/AD-Mablinogi.jpg to urlfilter located in (vista) C:/users/[youraccount]/AppData/Roaming/O pera/Opera

one or two of those folders are "hidden" under vista so be sure hidden folders are viewable.

you're welcome

i found this in the frontpage script. I should just block the entire domain cpmstar.com :D

its easy to block the ads with Opera.

You basically find the name of the .jpg image and add it to the urlfilter document.

I've given NG enough in the form of my Flash submissions (ad revenue from those). I'm not going to deal with full-screen ads. NG won't start charging a monthly fee because NG isn't worth a monthly fee.

No, you won't get a dig.

1: Its horrible in comparison to previous works.
2: Overrated, quite literally, as my review of 4 was deleted amongst (i'm assuming) hundreds of other reviews that may or may not have been "constructive" but were pretty honest.
3: I don't support people who whore their material beyond their natural domain.

I can honestly say I preferred the other Chipotle submissions, which is why I'm glad they have more votes at five-stars.

The animation was bland and unappealing. Other people seemed to have taken the time to put together a nice, enjoyable creation with a group of people to help.

I'd rather vote on a well-put together group effort than the cheap animation put together by a stingy "artist" working for himself.

The problem is, theres a big difference between soccer and an internet flash game that goes beyond the mere physical aspects. When you're playing soccer, and you want bragging rights, you don't want the "50-score achievement" or "50 game award" or some crap like that. You want to be the MVP.

Most Valuable Player. Now, that actually means something. That means you're "The Best". Sort of like how being a Valid Victorian makes you "The Best" of the school, and sort of like how winning a nobel prize means you're just an awesome dude.

You become the MVP by Playing. You get VV by Learning. You get the Nobel Prize by Doing Something Astounding.

You get "Achievements" by... doing the same thing over and over again X amount of times?... hitting some buttons in the right places...? What? Anyone can do something if you put a number on it. I can almost guarantee 98% of anyone who's ever won every achievement in a game NEVER DID NOR EVER WILL GO BACK TO IT. I want to find the person that plays that game every day regardless of what some "medal" says.

Achievements on this website should dump the metagaming feature and become limitless.

then again, i wouldn't waste my time with such senseless nonsense and rather post thoughtful posts.

Ad-block... Program? What kind of idiot uses one of those?

I simply use Opera and manually update opera's built-in URL blocker with the Fanboy ad-block list.

If I find a new Ad on the fly, i simply right click, scroll to "Block Content..." and shift-click on the unwanted ad.

Personally I don't care much for the "wide layout" as I've always used the popup function on the website.

For anyone who wants to nag me for blocking ads, I bought a shirt here for like 20 bucks 3 years ago.

i dont wanna give half my weath to a bunch of un deserving lazy bums or to pay for someone other than my children's college.

Ironically your "wealth" is constituted on the actual hard work of many citizens of third-world countries, and if by "wealth" you mean soley currency... hahaha...

Have you gone to a public school? Do you plan on going to a public college? Those are Socialist ideologies. People who don't go to school pay taxes for a large cut of people who attend college that may or may not drop out.

And in the end, you can't call someone a "lazy bum" when theres machines taking over their work. I think its good change. We will all be able to relax, work if we want to make a tad extra cash, and aspire to our aspirations.

I like the fact that many large companies are pulling out of the giant scheme. All of them covered in that list I could quite frankly do quite fine with.

I'm just happy to be able to see this change happening. I might be dead by the time we see its full-effect, but i'll be glad knowing we're going in this direction.

As for my analysis on the companies going down, here:

AMD/ATI
AMD got lucky when they absorbed ATI because their chipsets suck, but now they have ATI to fall back on. I don't think they'll go under anytime soon so long as they keep the vid. card business up

Norton/Mcafee
Bloated crap they've been selling us for the past 15 years. Good riddance. I worked on a friend's computer, got rid of norTON, and installed ESET nod32 Smart Security, and the thing runs so much faster. I wouldn't accept their software if someone paid me to use it because it would limit the functionality of my computer.

Sun
The only thing negative about them expiring is OpenOffice, but I bet some group will carry it on.

As for the rest, I could simply care less about them.

Oh well. Its been nice knowing you all. Time for me to watch this place self destruct like every well-intended website ever created... Lets take a look back in history...

Facebook: Used to be restricted to students attending Harvard, now its as bad as MySpace...

4chan: Used to be ok, now it just utterly sucks.

7chan: Same as 4chan, but runs at 1/10th speed.

Google: Used to be a nice, friendly search engine, but now they control a vast majority of Ad space on the Internet, have many services which surpass our expectations, but has more power than the owners probobly realise.

EbaumsWorld: Cancer. Has always been Cancer.

Stickam: Very great proof-of-concept website showing the use of compressed Flash video that turned into a haven of camwhores and trolls.

Every website tanks once it reaches a certain plateau depending on how wide it is. Newgrounds has been narrow enough to survive to-date, but that is soon to change. Thats alright. I'll watch the quality of Newgrounds media sink into the dark pit that the above websites have entered. It isn't my boat.

These tablets are not just about improving talent, they're about noticing it, So if Tom "Notices" WX can improve in better areas, he damn well deserves one.
Then don't make really stupid ignorant comments.

Aspiring Artists + Newgrounds = Newgrounds realizes talent = potential for ad profit

Newgrounds + Tablets + Aspiring Artists = Artists make higher-quality work for Newgrounds = $$$

Its a marketing scheme, and in WX's case, a petty "thank you for the 2 million+ views for your de_dust Flashes alone!"

Congrats WX, I hope your comedy and talent. pursue more creative ideas.

From what I noticed, everyone else who received a tablet due to their pre-existing talent shown through their work with a mouse or another medium of art. WX on the other hand, has been sticking solely to stick-art. If he really deserved a tablet, he should have created a demo using what he has.

And I really enjoy how members of Newgrounds jump right out and bite your face off. To think I used to be one of you people with 1400 posts. I'm glad I haven't devolved to your level.

It dosen't take a pen n' tablet to make stick figures. I guess Tom dosen't mind giving someone a hundred-dollar tablet considering the thousands upon thousands he gave Tom due to advertisement.

I'm glad I block ads. He didn't deserve this tablet. I believe it could have gone to someone with actual talent.

Hello people of Newgrounds! The last time I really posted here on a basis, was when I was a sad, atheist 13-year old. Now times have changed and I have something to show you.

Remember April 1st of this year, when Tom tried playing a very funny joke on us? well too bad. that joke was real. For those of you who do not remember this time, take a look here. http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/6799 84

Notice how disgusted and disgruntled all of you were. You did not want Newgrounds to become a "Myspace but BETTER!". You all wanted it to be the same. You all hated the idea as you hate government and mainstream ideas.

Three months later, you are greeted by THIS! http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/7360 34

Wow! scroll down and you will notice everyone is applauding and happy with the design! But wait a minute, just three months ago you ABSOLUTELY HATED the idea of a New-Newgrounds! If you REALLY think about it, you could replace the post from the official redesign with the post from the april fools joke, and they would be indifferent! I think Tom was up to something, and I bet he noticed this as well as myself.

Now that I have realized this, along with everything else that this site has done in the past year, I can tell that it isn't the same. remember THIS? THAT was what the original, funny Newgrounds ten years ago. Now Newgrounds is littered with utter trash. The best thing to do with trash, is to burn it, or move it out of your way.

Let me put this in terms most people with an average IQ can understand:

Newgrounds in the past was a great five-star restaurant serving wonderful meal. The original Newgrounds users were wonderful people, who deserved such a meal. As time progressed, this meal degraded in quality as each person took another helping, and now consists of moldy corned beef. As a result, the people who continue to eat this garbage have degraded in their quality as well. People have entered and left with the change of quality of this once great "meal". Some people have been eating their "meal" for the past ten years, and should seriously consider finding something else to eat.

Whoever truely understands what I just typed up, is a very special person, who should be "eating much greater food".

I have been eating this meal for the past three and a half years. I have been alongside you same customers of this food, and I have quarreled, laughed, fought, and even cried over you. Heck, I have even created my own dishes and added them to the menu. Now I am going to find somewhere else to satisfy my tastes.
