Continuing the experiment.
After reading TekkonKinkreet, the result was this one.
Hmmm...

Something curious.
You browse an illustration book by Alfonso Azpiri.
The subsequent drawing looks like this.

ReNaeNae didn't just send meM-Vero's card. Apart from that, she sent me the "lost Santa" card ThePortalGuru mentioned before (BTW, I loved the colored envelopes. They add a classy touch.) and a stash of Newgrounds goodies that have made me a really happy bloke!
You know, it's really, REALLY difficult to me buying stuff online. So getting these NG-related items has been like my very own private X-mas miracle. Yeah, seriously.
Apart of the stuff Fifí is kindly showing you there was an NG postcard featuring MindChamber's Pico Day 2009 art. That's already pinned in my wall, hehe.

I also want to greet all the people contributing to this project, and encourage those who haven't participated to take part in similar events. And I'm not saying that because of the presents, I swear!

HAPPY 2009 TO YOU ALL NG'ERS!!!

Don't you fret your worried head anymore, M-Vero... Your card arrived to my hands yesterday.
I'm unable to scan anything during these days (I hope the situation changes after the holidays, 'cause if not... glups.), so I had to take a pair of photoes and edit them the best I could... Sadly, that's not really that much...
Anyway, here's a brief description of M-Vero's card: It's a classical folded page printed in both sides. Here you can see the front picture depicting our troubled fellow... and the following conclusion (I have too google out that "boxing day"... Something tells me it has nothing to do with people fighting.).
The design looked really nice, it's a pity you can't really notice that in the pictures... But that's something I already had assumed. The people who have received my card will have noticed that it's printed in a textured, sturdy quality paper that looks like crap when scanned... I liked it because that way you can only look the picture properly when you have the card in your hands (I sticked to the same idea in my NG Sketchbook 2009 entry.). I won't post that picture unless someone else forces me to do that.
Anyway, good work, Dave. I'm really happy for receiving your card. Especially when I told 'Nae I wasn't really expecting she sends me anything in exchange...

Just by the sake of information, here's a drawing of the same character made by XcesarX, the creator of the series.
He was much younger than me, but, hell... He boasted CARTLOADS of illusion, and helped me a lot in those times.
He was very dedicated and you could tell he was improving fast... He soon ended making carrer as web designer and Flash programmer.
This one was also the character he cherised most... I think this is one of the oldest drawings of her I have.

Well, I'm going to post this old drawing of mine. This character was from a comic a friend of mine was doing like, four years ago or so... In that time, Naruto was about to be adapted to TV and it was the best shonen manga in years, and Bleach hadn't been published yet...

"Yosatsu" was a comic about a group of youngsters who happened to be part of an ancient secret organization of a powerful breed of unhuman yokai hunters (If somebody here is asking what a "Yokai" is, I'd describe them briefly as "Japanese monsters". Japanese call vampires and werewolves "Western Yokai"...).
This girl, Ikari (Japanese word for "Rage"), is the team leader and instructor for the main character. Despite her name, she is calmed and slightly cold-blooded when in action. Plus, she had quite a past (OF COURSE.).

You can also see this drawing as a colored wallpaper in the Art Portal.

Anyway, thank you for not drawing me in fishnet stockings.

As you may have noticed, once my duty has finished, I have a sort of self-made rule: I'm not posting again, whatever happens. Not even text.

But I'm making an exception this time.

Yesterday, I could browse a little bit the net and I realized I overlooked, not only one, but two postsasking for pictures properly.
Of course it hasn't been intentional. That day I had to scroll the page up and down a lot and play with many windows. This time I tried hard (perhaps too hard) to make as many drawings as I could and leave the blabbers and kudos for the end.
To me, that's a big F. But what is done, it's done...
The only thing I can do now, is to compensate those two people posting now their respective requests, they've been made on the heat of my own home, so I think I've took some more time than expected...
Anyway, I'm sorry and I hope you like them.
