Right.

I just finished a mix which required a lot of BPM changes. To combat that, I saved them as four different tracks, which I then blended together with first Acoustica and then Audacity. Newgrounds is telling me the file is not a valid mp3.

To be clear:

Yes, it is sampled at 44.1.
Yes, it is less than 8mb.
Yes, I have run the finished product through Audacity. Several times.

The bitrate is 128. There shouldn't be any problems, but I am unfortunately stuck.

Anyone got anything for me? Much appreciated!

Half my age? I wouldn't give you a day over thirteen.
Then you have been meticulously and systematically proved wrong and outperformed in arguments by a 13 year old.

Just from an outsider's point of view, I think it's a little presumptuous to say that you're winning this argument. You've been doing nothing but fighting his arguments with general statements about Canadians, and consistently accusing him of the same thing you have been doing quite frequently.

Right now, neither one of you is winning the argument.

Jesus, man! Were you really not reading any of my posts that led up to that? I was just trying to get your attention so that I could make the point that - holy shit - you guys are getting into a huge political debate about *gasp* Rick Mercer! -_-

Now see, that will probably get their attention, but it won't stop them 'cause they'll just respond to you as an after thought. What you really need to do is insult both of their ideologies at the same time using absolutely nothing that has any basis in the truth. That will almost certainly piss of Celador, and if you can distract him then BC won't have anyone to respond to.

However, they'll still argue with each other anyway, so it's a lost cause really = )

A lost cause, but not without its entertainment value. I just can't believe what they're arguing over. I mean, this is Rick Mercer we're talking about. =_=

THIS IS A COMEDY.

This is not intended to be a slant against Americans, it is meant to be a JOKE! And anyone who takes the damn thing seriously has issues! Duh! Any Canadian who really believes the whole country is THAT stupid needs to get a reality check, and any American who thinks that we Canadians are basing our opinion of our Sister to the South on Rick Mercer... well, seriously, learn to laugh at yourselves for a change and hang up the pride for a while.

For gawd's sake, you guys make enough igloo/hockey/eh/beaver jokes about us as it is. This is just payback. lol

A discussion in another thread brought this up in my mind, but living in Canada I hear a lot of crap talk about America, and reading American forum posts I hear a lot of crap talk about France, England, Germany - basically all of Europe.

Why do people have to cling to their hatred of a whole country based on the actions of a select few? Why, for example, do we as Canadians make a whole lot of unfounded assumptions about Americans when most of them are perfectly decent people, despite the fact that their leader is a moron?

And as far as the American attitude toward, say, the French goes, most seem to overlook the good qualities of nations and prefer to just flat-out hate, in this case, the French, even though most of it is based on history and unfair generalizations. Having spent three months with the French, I found them to be very pleasant people and not all that snobby - that's like saying all Canadians are polite, and PUH-leeze - but they seem to focus their snobbiness toward Americans, whom they dislike just as unfairly in some cases......

<sigh> Does anybody see my point?

<sigh> All right, I promise myself I wouldn't respond to you again, but this one is priceless.

The European Union is very new. It is composed of twenty-seven member states - countries - that are primarily, but not exclusively, located *within* Europe. It only began to form in 1957. Before that, there was no affiliation between the forty-eight different countries that currently form the continent of Europe.

The United States is, in fact, a country with defined "states" just as Canada has "provinces." The European Union is quite different, and is centralized within Europe, the continent. For more information on the European Union - not the most reputable source but you'll find the same answers anywhere you look - go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_un ion.

While you ponder that, I'll also give you the meaning of "troll": someone who basically goes on forums to stir shit up.

If I were you, I'd admit to being a troll rather than keep on with your "Europe is a country" nonsense. You'll embarrass yourself a little less that way.

Because superstitions are things decided by an individual, while fears can be widespread without word-of-mouth.

He means, I think, fear of death and fear of there being nothing after death, and things along those lines. It's naturally reassuring to think that there's something up there watching over everything we do and keeping us safe.
