So I am having a bit of an issue. we have a wirless lan setup in my house that I share with my gf and two roomates. and a slew of other laptop toting geeks coming through our house.

Our issue is this. we just got a computer with vista and every other computer that comes through is running xp. So i was wondering is it just the fact that it is different operating systems and if it is, is there a way around this besides installing xp on the station with vista. Or if there are other alternative problems that may bring this problem up.

The station does connect to the internet but that is the wireless router, but it does not detect the other stations running xp.
