Those are pretty fucking awesome! Just dont forget to post more silhouettes created by you so other people can make something from it

Thought it was a good ideia for people who want to get better at it.

If you dont know about making artwork from silhouettes digitally, well, it's pretty much just adding value on a black shape and then add detail and color it.

At least for me, uit goes a little bit like this (I know this example isnt perfect though):

Then I add value and details:

Lot's of people do these, and I think it would be cool to pratice doing it in this thread... how you say?

Well, all you have to do is to use the silhouette created by the user above you and give value, details etc. And then comment, posting the result, and also post a silhouette created by you, for the next user to use to make the artwork.

Huh, I just though it would be cool for eveyone if people once In a while left a post with one or two tutorials in a thread so artists could check out. So I created this thread.

You can also comment about recomendations, either to websites or "how to draw" books.

I dont know how this is going to turn out but I though it would be a good idea, so yeah.

Just to say that I wont be able to update this thread during weekends. Because in weekends I move to a diferent house and my tablet doesnt work in the other compute :( Maybe I can draw two in one day during the week to compensate

By that I believe you mean doing the whole thing with no color (black and white and gray only) so that is easier to make the values, and then create an overlay layer to add the color.

That's normaly what I do with my digital stuff, this "caricatures" are supposed to be really quick sketches, because I have a really busy routine.

Still, I think I'll give it a try, I believe I will be taking more time by doing that, therefor foing aganist one of the reasons of why I started this in the first place, but I think I can do it once In a while.

I've also been experiencing diferent programs, that's why the Max Gilardi one cam out horrendous :(
