4) My strengths would have to be taking chaos from real life and making it funny in writing. Main weakness is bad grammar and not wanting to follow rules of writing a specific way.

On a side note I have been kicked around a lot since I first started on Newgrounds because users seem to hate people like me. I am full of ideas and am able to write them but I cannot animate. I have been told to screw off because apparently "all animators can just write for themselves and do not need non-animator writers to work with." I am, of course, paraphrasing from the bashing harassment I have received, as these are not my own words. Once I even had a conversation with an admin, who was forced to shut down a post where I was being harassed, about a fabled future writing portal which still has not happened.

Anything to help writers on Newgrounds is marvelous and I applaud you for taking the initiative.

I write scripts for screenplays, cartoons and a verity of other things and I am interested in being able to be apart of this. If you are willing to accept me PM more information to me so I understand exactly what I am to write.

2D animation**

I have been looking into colleges that offer animation and I wanted to post this to ask people what college is the most benifical to getting a job in the animation industry. To clearify this I mean what college can give students experence in animation, not just show them the basics in some program. I'm looking for a college that can help their students make connections to people in the animation industry and not just toss them out on the streets with a degree that will get them no where. It seems hard to explain and I don't know if I explained it to well but I'm looking for a college that teaches animation and doesn't screw their students over after attending the college. This is something that I have looked into and is completly serious so please refrain from posting comments such as 'google it' because I have just googled it. I am asking this question for people who have personal experence with this.

i would say you were fortunate to have found three people who were willing to animate what you wrote. and they're not your cartoons. you wrote for it, and someone else animated it. if anyone has the right to claim it as "my cartoon" it would be the animator who brought your words to life.

You bring up a good point. It is the animator's cartoon as he spent the time making it. I wrote it so it is my story. I call them my cartoons because they came from my mind but what you said make sense.

I write content in the hopes that it makes people laugh. My cartoon scripts, if animated, I hope people will laugh about. I have received both positive and negative feed back on all three cartoons I have out. Some people enjoy, others not so much. What I have just wrote above will probably give someone a chuckle and make them want to respond in a negative way. So I suppose I contribute genuine laughter in my cartoons to the viewers and belligerent comebacks from anyone who does not like my content.

I've been on Newgrounds for a few months now and I have immersed myself in it. Every day I get on and I search for animators to collaborate with. I have found some and I have gotten 3 of my cartoon scripts animated. I write all the time and I don't animate. Here on Newgrounds there are all these events for artists, programers, and animators but I never see anything for writers. The writing forum is practically dead so all I see there are people posting poems.

Are writers just viewed as incompetent people because they can't animate so that is why I never see any cartoon writing competitions? If so that makes me feel pretty shitty. I may be missing something but I never see anything for writers.

Hello, I am Bigohpow a cartoon script writer. I have written over 500 cartoon animation scripts. They are in my arsenal, ready to be fired at a moments notice into the eyes of the public to view, but all I need is an animator or animators to help me for I myself cannot animate worth a shit. I have collaborated, and will continue to collaborate with, another animator by the username of AmateurCreator. With his help I have been able to have two of my scripts animated. Both have received fourth place on P-Bots Daily Picks. My newest cartoon, Bathroom Misfortune, is at 12,000 plus views. I intend to get higher then 4th place, way more views, and tons of laughs out of the community here on Newgrounds.

I need more animators, people who I can trust and become friends with, people who wont tell me to go eff myself when I ask if they will animate my scripts like so many others have here on Newgrounds. I want to have many more of my scripts become cartoons. Creating funny cartoon scripts are such amazing things to do and I can't just let them sit around collecting dust. The way I worded it must have been just fucking stupid then. The god damn speaker has a shitty flash animation and would like a new one, I don't know how to fucking animate. I was like hey I know this place called newgrounds I can look for some animators to help you out. But no you guys are just fucking cunts then. The way I worded it was stupid now that I re-read it. 1270x720 is incredibly massive for a Flash, by the way.

I've been animating since September and don't consider myself as bad as other newbie animators... when is the deadline? I'm sure you can learn how to animate in no time! :)

I've tried animating,it always turns to shit that loos like a 3 year old drew. Just wanted animations that actually look good to give to the speaker. I'm a script writer by heart and would love to learn how to animate but I get to pissed to do it.
