The reason being that although you may have been the one who cleaned and coloured it, technically the line art is someone else's work. It would be like submitting a paint by numbers or a colouring book to the art portal. You may have done a fabulous job, but someone else laid the foundation for the piece.
That being said, you're more than welcome to post that kind of work here in the art forum.
So when you say you colour stuff, does that mean that you don't even ink pieces? Or are the flats already filled in too?
Either way, colouring someone else's piece may be good practice, but it's not accepted in the art portal, unless it's a collaboration project where all parties involved have given permission.

For one, it would be really nice if we were able to configure our pages to look more like portfolios. I also think the overall rules and guidelines of the portal should change and be more strictly applied.
Configuring a userpage to showcase as per a portfolio would work.... if Newgrounds was solely for art, but it's not.
It's a site where people have three mediums in which to showcase their work, and just pandering to one group would leave out the others.

Yeah, but for his right hand, you have the thumb on the bottom palm facing backward, indicating a reverse underhand grip. The more comfortable way to hold it would be thumb on the top palm facing forward, indicating a regular underhand grip. It's a lot more comfortable, if you try it out for yourself you'd see.
Besides, he's carrying it behind his back which makes it even more awkward. He should just be hefting it in front.

My art teacher in school has literally told me that if I used a reference from a photo someone else took, I'm plagiarizing and It's not really my work...
Then your teacher is an idiot.
Your best references are going to be those that you can create and see yourself, like actual physical tangible things in front of you, but you're not always going to have that option. Thus, you go for stock photos. They may not be as good, but you'll still pick up a lot of things.

Tell Mitch to put 'stopAllSounds' on each one or something so they don't play over each other!
Other than that... good stuff! I like ;D
Silly Nae, all you have to do is press Spacebar to stop all sounds ;P
So apparently I have a soundboard.....
Big Jonny 13 Gets his own soundboard!

Run the gambit fresh from the start, fuck all the shit that happened, too much of a clusterfuck.

Newgrounds pretty much will host anything and everything that you can imagine.
We once had a porn art thread, so you have nothing to worry about.

I saw this on facebook. Pretty slick. The face could use a bit of work, but still a solid piece.

Yeah, this definitely.
Maybe like a darker red/maroon hue would work.

Did you honestly just bump a 6 year old thread?
I concur with Template, as I can see some issues anatomically.
The best way to deal with anatomy is to use a reference. There are hundreds of references online that you can find for these sorts of things, whether on deviantart, or posemaniacs, and they're wonderful resources.
At 8/27/13 01:27 AM, bigCman321 wrote: I didn't. They someone must have shared it. I typically submit stuff to deviantart before it's finished and then when I'm happy with it I add it to groups so people would see it. I wrongly assumed very few people would visit my deviantart page before I was done.
Well, it was submitted under your name and links to your DA.... maybe Dorkly themselves saw it and wanted to host it.
At 8/26/13 09:37 PM, bigCman321 wrote: Well can't do anything else now. It's already on the front freaking page of deviant are and spreading through tumblr and reddit like wildfire. Also Ken Levine tweeted it. Holy shit.
Surprised you submitted it to Dorkly before you finished it
You've made a couple of threads of videos showcasing pieces you've worked on.
You should consider making a personal art thread to house everything.
