Ive been working lightly with audio for around three years now and in order to expand my skill set and customer relation skills I was wondering if anyone working on projects needed help with audio?

I figured this would be a good place to start or does everyone else generally do their own audio work? Im not looking at composing yet as im still looking into that however drama would in my area.

Experience include:

Recording/Mixing and Mastering Bands
Recording/Mixing and Mastering Orchestra
Shadowing in BBC Radio Drama

Surley someone has some wisdom to spread?

Are there any very good sound effect download websites that have very respectable and crisp sound effects, I know i should be doing my own although i dont have the technology to do so.

'Mac Audio Converter' in google and you'll get loads of results, take your pick from one of many programs to use either free or trial.

I need a level cheat for this game i dont get it

hey was wondering if anyone could help me on this subject, im doing some editing.

i need to find sound effects such as simple bell 'dings', elevator backround music, bleeps of the sort. even footsteps. basic all round sound effects.

Hey, i was talking to a friend about the audio portal on here and we were thinking about submitting some of his stuff

remember this is his stuff and not mines so i said since i have a newgrounds account i will query about a few aspects. I have read the legal terms but when i was going to upload the file i saw its only a 4MB upload to newgrounds

The file i was going to submit for him is 12MB

would people on the site rather listen to 192Kbps 44.1KHz (i know 44.1 is standard to work on the site) or what if the file were to saved at a lower rate then 192 (although it most likley will sound very bad if done so)

Im looking for some feedback on this matter and if well, nothing can get around it will i be able to post a link on which everyone will be able to download the full 12MB version

ok im going to guess your musics quite upbeat etc

id suggest on a few pads not only one

get more layers of precussion in there

maybe its lacking another bass lead

it could also be that your main leads also dont have any following leads in the backround, just one main lead never really works

It'll probably be something in a minor key. That's the main basis of most sad songs. If anyone can make a really sad song in a major key, I'll be fucking gobsmacked.

It depends on what style your looking at and how emotionally involved you are with the song, for instance i can say this song is a sad one where as you'll think that makes you happy as fuck.

just because its not in minor dosent mean its not going to be sad

Did anyone from here play this game before they made you have to pay for this? Or maybe you still play it?

This was years ago mind, although its still up and running with a lot less players than it used to have.

If you did play what was your name when you did, or still do? Any clans you were apart of?

Do you think they will eventually make this game back for nothing as the game is quickly losing players due to them forking out on a pay-monthly instead of a pay and you own it for good basis.
