Try Ebay. There is plenty of great and rare stuff available there. There is also a high degree of security involved with payment and shipping, not to mention the insurance. If the product turns out to be defective, you can take action. I use Ebay all the time, and have never had a problem with things I buy there.

I totally agree.

The facts are around 70% of US citizens support the war, and like 85% or more support the troops.

NEVER trust polls. They are extemely innaccurate and different polls have so many variations in data.

The reason we are at war with Iraq is because the majority of Americans voted for the people who decided we need to go to war. These people made these decisions based on the views of the people who elected them. So protestors need to realize the majority of the country supports the war and they are out voted.

Actually, Florida's horrible voting flaws elected Bush.

I know 3 soldiers fighting in this war. 2 think it's bullshit, and 1 is indifferent on the side of pro-war, simply because he thinks it's fun. The indifferent one has a brother who is a big time anti-war protester. He is against the war, but still supports the troops. That is the biggest misconception I've seen yet with this war: that being anti-war is unpatriotic and unsupportive of the troops. REMEMBER: You can still support the troops, but NOT support the war.

Though I overall consider myself Democrat, I would much rather have seen McCain win this presidency. I say we all flood his desk with mass petitions to run again in 2004.

I've been wondering this myself . . . Print Screen doesn't work with the new coding in media player videos. All I ever get is the player's skin and a black screen when I paste. HOWEVER, if I leave the player up, I can move the image pasted in Paintshop, Paint, whatever over the player, and the video will show up on the pasted black screen. BUT IT NEVER STAYS. I've been searching for something that can bypass the security coding in newer players for a while now, but I've come up with nothing.

I wish there were as many protesters in the early days of the US. Sure, Sadam killed 5000 Kurds in a gas attack, and we have a damn good reason to get upset. BUT when millions of natives are killed in the Indian wars and on the Trail of Tears, we hardly bat an eye.

Response to: WMDs found in Iraq! Posted April 7th, 2003 in General

WMDs! YAY! But, what's the validity? Did we 'plant' them to save face, are they simply pesticides, or are they real? Is Sadam really dead, did we kill a body double to save face, or is he now in Saudi Arabia with a newly-finished plasic surgery job?

Chemical weapons in Iraq! Almost makes me forget about us using Agent Orange in 'Nam . . . Almost.

I'm not saying it's untrue, I'm not saying it's proven. I'm just saying that it's speculation at this point.

Usama bin Laden: lived in a cave- we couldn't kill him
Saddam Hussein- lives in several palaces, bunkers, houses, and huts. Has an estimated 5-50 look-alikes. What makes us think we can kill him?

Saddam may be evil, but he's not dumb. My guess is that around week one, he escaped and is now sharing a condo with Usama in Qatar. He's gone, we'll claim to find chemicals and a corpse to save face.

Response to: Can a WOMAN rape a MAN? Posted April 7th, 2003 in General

I live in Ohio, and I heard about a local rapist (Columbus area) who beat the system, so the woman and her mother kidnapped the guy. After stripping his clothes and hog tying him, the shoved a cucumber up his ass (thereby raping him), and drove him to a busy intersection and sat him on the sidewalk for all the world to see (and laugh at).

So men can be raped by forced penetration of the anus, though it's not likely to see a woman subdue a man and drill him with a strap-on.

Equally unlikely, she could tie a man up, slip him a viagra, then have her way with his artificial erection.

In closing, I believe that yes, a man can be raped by a woman. Sick, but true.

The last great irony of this war. Bush starts this war originally claiming it in his 'War on Terror,' citing Saddam had chemical weapons he was planning on deploying on the US or his neighbors (where are they?). What he forgets is that Usama attacked the US in 1993 because he was pissed we started a war in Iraq in the first place. 2001 comes, and he cripples the Twins, and now Bush decides to repeat history and start another war with Iraq. Now that the extremists have seen they CAN hurt America, they now see another war being fought. I wonder how they plan on avenging this war . . . ? Maybe terrorism all over again?! Will we fight a war to suppress that, only to lead to further terror?

We destroyed the Taliban. Great. We had proof they aided Bin Laden in the attack on the US. Now we have an Iraqi war that has strayed FAR from the original focus of the 'War on Terror' . . . to me Bush always had his eyes set on Iraq. 9/11 just gave him an excuse (though irrelevant) to invade.

The other doesn't care one way or another- he's a big hillbilly who loves monster truck rallies and shooting guns, so he's having a lot of fun with the M16-mounted Hummers. I myself wanted to join the Marines, but can't join any branch on account of having athsma, which really sucks balls. I personally support the troops, but not the war. I think it's kind of sad to see that we even have troops who don't even support the war. Just goes to show how great a leader Bush is.

Just remember: it's possible to support troops without supporting the war.

I mean, Bush and Gore?! That was such a case of Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

So true. McCain has all the good qualities about him: fearless, good with money, and not afraid of criticism. I remember the big ruckus he cause when he called a fellow politician a "chickenshit," and I know that he paid for a huge part of his own campaign. I say we all flood his offices with mass petitions to run again. Hell- with Bush and Lieberman running in '04, we're stuck right back where we were in 2000. Tweedledee and Tweedledum. But we'll likely see Bush back in office, since there are so many people who seem worried about electing a Jew. God, I hate politics.

Response to: Bush Posted April 6th, 2003 in General

No, no. Bush is hilarious. I mean . . . what other person would condemn chemical weapons, when we've used them ourselves (Agent Orange)? What other person would sternly warn against a jihad, when we've been guilty of jihads ourselves (Manifest Destiny)? What other person would condemn the deaths of 5,000 Kurds, while overlooking even more brutal atrocities (Trail of Tears)?

Sure, these happened years ago, but then again . . . so did the Declaration, the Constitution, and the Emancipation Proclimation. Does that make them irrelevant to today as well?

His hypocricy is astoundingly comical. Check this bullshit out: "There ought to be limits to freedom". Why did we ever hold this idiot to be responsible for the most free nation on Earth?! I seriously wish McCain would have won. I'm no Republican, but out of all the candidates, I think McCain was the best suited for the job. Or then again . . . let's elect Tic Tacs for President in '04.

Response to: Nintendo #1 in US Posted April 6th, 2003 in General

I love Nintendo. I still have The Legend of Zelda in my NES right now, ready to play. I only recently bought a Gamecube, because Best Buy had an amazing deal on it. Now I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner! I mainly bought it for Super Mario Sunshine, since the only PS2 games I like are FFX, GTA3, and The Getaway. I figured I'd try something new and go back to an old favorite- Mario. I then bought Metroid Prime (I have yet to play it), SSB:M (the best fighting game ever), and Wind Waker (simply amazing).

Sadly (or not- depends on how you look at it), playing SSB:M has gotten me hooked on other odd Nintendo creations- Pokémon, Pikmin, and Animal Crossing. Now I can't get enough. Honestly, I think the Gamecube is the best system on the market, and I don't think Nintendo can ever do wrong. Long live Gamecube!

And for Xbox haters . . . you'll love this: http://xbo.cx

Response to: Michael Moore's Letter to Bush Posted March 20th, 2003 in General

Bush is bad, Saddam is worse, but I think Sharon has them both beat.

I personally commend Michael Moore on this letter. I watched Roger and Me, and was impressed. True this letter amounted to disgruntled name calling, but that is sadly the only way to get one's attention. Had he presented simple straightforward facts rather than attacks on Bush, no one would have batted an eye.

I am personally against war, for several reasons:
a) Bush claims this is all an effort in the war on terror, when in fact terrorism sprang as a form of protest due to our involvement in the region in the first place. Further involvement is sure to cause further terrorism.
b) Like Hans Blix stated, "We aren't watching them break toothpicks here," Saddam really was disarming, but Bush is too Hellbent on getting his way. Now I know there is a good chance of deception on Saddam's part, and it can easily be argued that if he had them, he would likely use them, but with such pressure on him, why would he launch one? The constant military pressure on him was indeed making him disarm.
c) I heard an arguement a while back that creating a Democratic Islamic country does nothing but create a country sympathetic to Iran, and I 100% agree.
d) Bush is trying to bring a nation into an era it is not quite ready for. In a land where it is acceptable for a man to cheat on his wife, then set her on fire for not pleasing him, I don't think that our ways of Democracy and equality will fly.
e) Bush has asked Congress for $90 billion a month to fight this war, and he plans on financing it with tax CUTS!
f) This morning I heard that Saddam's body double count may be up to as many as 50 over concerns of war. Honestly, how will we know we killed the right one? It won't be too long before we get a Saddam clone, all the while he and Usama are sharing a condo undetected in Qatar.
g) For the superstitious: Nostradamus predicted 3 Anti-Christs, all of which would affect the security of the world. The first has been said to be Napoleon, the second he called 'Hister,' which is damn close to the Fuhrer, and his third he named 'Mabus.' With many oracle and soothsayer visions, a name is often reversed, and Mabus backwards is 'Subam.' Once again, damn close to a certain dictator. The thing with Mabus is, once he's been killed, there will be 'a great undoing of man and animals,' basically, all Hell will break loose. Most people like to discount his visions on account of innacuracies on Earthquakes or assassinations that never occured, but most of these occured outside Europe; while in Europe, his accuracy was almost perfect. The Mid-East is not too far outside Europe, so, who knows . . . ? And once again, this was for the superstitous.

I am not completely anti-war, despite how my post sounds. I saw Janeanne Garafolo on CNN's Crossfire, and she made an excellent point that this will help to liberate the Iraqi citizens, but a superb counterpoint as well: why only Iraqi's? There are people struggling in Africa, and South America, just the same. Why stop with Iraq? Could we at least be consistent?

Eh, I'm done now.
