A) He's not that old.
72 is old. If he served two full terms he'd be 80. That;s 2 years over average life expectancy in the US, but...
B) He's in great physical health for someone his age and the shit he's been through.
Skin cancer, stage III melanoma, look it up.
His medical history runs to 1,173 pages long. That's a novel, not a record. Plus he's refusing to release any information on it. Nothing to hide?
And what about his mental health, he hasa glazed over, staring, despondant look to him. I've seen people with alzheimers who look more lucid.
C) He has great genes obviously since his mother is still alive and she's nearing 100.
I have a great grandma who's 102, a great aunt who's 94, and a grandma who's 87.
I also have a grandpa who died at 52 and an aunt who died at 62. Neither of them smoked or drinked. You CANNOT base how long someone will live based on their relatives, though recurring diseases in a families history can be caused by genes.
D) Even if he did die, Palin would make an excellent President as well. In fact, I'd rather see her president than McCain.
Based on what, her inability to talk publicly at length without a script? Her vast experience of... nothing remotely like being president, and a history of being a hardnosed bitch.
You have to take into account the fact I have no political affiliations or affections to one party or another seeing as I don't live in your country. I have however been paying close attention to the elections since late last year, and honestly - from a completely neutral point of view I have this to say:
John McCain is not the right man for the job. Sarah Palin is not the right women for the job.
Obama may not be perfect, but from what I have seen he is better educated, clear and concise and Joe Biden complements his "inexperience" perfectly.
