I totally can relate, for 9 years (2001-2010) I worked on EDM music and back in 2010 I stopped and started working on ambient stuff and in 4 years I did maybe 6 tracks. Im now getting back into Progressive House and trance myself after the 4 years of not doing anything with a beat to it, and I find it refreshing =)
