I thought this topic was about video games...
But sitting in a dinky room playing video games all day isn't punishment. It's college.
Why were there video games in prison to begin with?

Semantics, bleah.
Everyone eventually dies. People with down's syndrome can still have long meaningful lives.

It's a genetic disorder.

We have more hippie.
That's idiotic.
Oh and by the way, we would obliterate them.
Every time an event like this happens everyone always jumps to governement conspiracy. The Kennedy assasination is a good example of this. I think in this case it is a desire on the part of some people to believe that Bush is all they claim he is.

I meant I suspect the reason she is forgiven so easily is because she murdered a child with down syndrome.

The way you make your fiance sound when talking about stuff fli says, you made her sound like she alternately didn't like gay people, and didn't like latinos, at least to me you did. Didn't take serious examination I just read those posts, and that's how it sounded. So in future? Phrase things better, simple.
Wow you got all of that deep psycological evaluation from a single sentence? Damn I'm going to be hours figuring out were I went wrong here.

Are you sure you guys aren't reading just a bit too deep into it?
Just as someone has to go through a hunters ed course before they can go out and use a gun perhaps people who wish to own dogs should have to complete a course in propper training.

This is why we need tort reform.

I would gladly accept those terms. I don't think there is a pro life person out there who wouldn't pay a few dollars more in taxes to save lives.
Would this work? I know it'll never happen but it's not less than pro-lifers deserve. It's not even a good compromise though because a lot of people have abortions because they don't want to be pregnant in the first place.
Imagine that.

Now that we've established I'm a smart ass (again) would it be too much to ask you to give me the benefit of the doubt?
But it doesn't matter because you won't read this. :)
If you took my advice you shouldn't be reading this.=)
Ok Reiper I worked this out. Say your house with interest included will cost you a total $150,000 so this translates to a minimum payment of $5,000 every year for 30 years. Now you propose to make 10,000 payments for 15 years. Now say instead of doing that you take the extra $5,000 and invest it at 7% for thirty years while making your minimum house payments. At the end of thirty years you would have accumulated $505,036. Now if you were to do it your way and pay off your house in 15 years then invest $10,000 a year for 15 years you would only have $268,000. So as you can see you will actually end up with almost twice as much money if you stretch the payments out and invest the money you were going to use for double payments.
