But sitting in a dinky room playing video games all day isn't punishment. It's college.

Why were there video games in prison to begin with?

syn·drome n.
A group of symptoms that collectively indicate or characterize a disease, psychological disorder, or other abnormal condition.

Down's Syndrome eventually kills through complications.

Semantics, bleah.

Everyone eventually dies. People with down's syndrome can still have long meaningful lives.

Every time an event like this happens everyone always jumps to governement conspiracy. The Kennedy assasination is a good example of this. I think in this case it is a desire on the part of some people to believe that Bush is all they claim he is.

Just as someone has to go through a hunters ed course before they can go out and use a gun perhaps people who wish to own dogs should have to complete a course in propper training.

I would gladly accept those terms. I don't think there is a pro life person out there who wouldn't pay a few dollars more in taxes to save lives.

Would this work? I know it'll never happen but it's not less than pro-lifers deserve. It's not even a good compromise though because a lot of people have abortions because they don't want to be pregnant in the first place.

Imagine that.

Ok Reiper I worked this out. Say your house with interest included will cost you a total $150,000 so this translates to a minimum payment of $5,000 every year for 30 years. Now you propose to make 10,000 payments for 15 years. Now say instead of doing that you take the extra $5,000 and invest it at 7% for thirty years while making your minimum house payments. At the end of thirty years you would have accumulated $505,036. Now if you were to do it your way and pay off your house in 15 years then invest $10,000 a year for 15 years you would only have $268,000. So as you can see you will actually end up with almost twice as much money if you stretch the payments out and invest the money you were going to use for double payments.
