When taxes are cut, that's a huge expense down the drain. The supply curve drifts down, which brings down the equilibrium price and increases the production, thereby increasing profitability.

The real question is, "Why wouldn't a rational firm not want to profit maximize?" You guys are so stupid. I'm losing my patience.

Surely they can't all be stupid, I'm sure any second now some wise liberal will wander in and point out the inelasticity of the demand for oil. Any second now...

What the FUCK is your definition of efficency? You seem to put numbers and money before actual real human beings, and then act as if people should actually respect you before their arguments.

Corporations don't exist to benefit mankind they exist to make money for their owners. If all of mankind wants to benefit I suggest they buy some stock and shut the fuck up.

Make whatever comment you want about their quality of life. That doesn't change the fact that they are inefficient states with high unemployment rates and lousy labor markets.
If it's a better place to live, why does that matter? How are they "Lousy" labor markets? Belgians for instance, are the most efficent workers in the worlds. The U.S. may be more productive, but that's nothing to do with the labor market. You do have much less in the way of holidays, too. At best the U.S. is a small notch above Europe in terms of "labor", and two notches below in most other areas.

Yeah France is a real paradise due to their labor practices. Didn't those riots spread all accross Europe a few months ago?

And are *slightly higher* high unemployment rates that terrible? You only view people as machines, that have no worth unless they work. But being unemployed and getting decent welfare is better than working your ass off in McDonalds and never being able to get anywhere because you're not one of those lucky ones born with a natural industrious streak. Yeah, people have to pay for that. But there's a billion other things people have to pay for too, and there's all kinds of nonsense where the money goes down the drain in the U.S.

Wait you think that if you can't immediatly get a job that pushes you to middle income and above you shouldn't have to work? GO TO FUCKING COLLEGE YOU STUPID SON A BITCH THEN YOU CAN GET A GOOD JOB!

Also there is plenty of room to advance at McDonalds, a dedicated employee can usually make manager in a year or so and become a store manager after 6 or 7 years. From there they can advance to area store manager and possibly try for a promotion to the corporate level. If they save their money like good boys and girls they can even eventually become an owner. Don't knock McDonalds just because you're incapable of working for a living.

When I was rim shopping I was told 17"s have about the same characteristics of wagon wheels. Because they have such a low profile you have to fill them with such a redicously high number of psi that you wonder why they don't just make the tires out of solid rubber. Sure they may look cool but you eat a lot in handling and the quality of the ride. You don't see real race cars and dragsters running on 1/4" inch of rubber.

You mean through purchasing easily affordable quality goods? Ask someone who lived in the former Soviet Union about their toilete paper, fuck that it's Charman Ultra for me all the way.

Apparently somewhere along the way I missed a 100 level requirement for my accounting major so next year as a senior I'm going to have to take some bullshit class with several hundred freshman.

My choices are Anthropology 100 (I don't know what the hell anthropology is), Psycology 101 and Sociology 101.

I was wondering if anyone had a recomendation.

2) This abortion was not participated in by every Christian
3) Therefore every Christian supports abortion

No I can see you're a fucking moron.

Christians are expressing a concern about the amount of abortions taking place among Christians and others. I do not see muslim societies actively campaining against terrorism.

People who ignore a tendency of a particular cultural/religous/racial group to participate in terrorist activities and claim there there is no connection between the two are usually stupid.

Obviously, but just because a tiny percentage supports terrorists, and an even tinier percentage actually are them doesn’t mean shit. How many Christians support the blowing up of abortion clinics and death threats sent to medical practitioners just because of the job they have? How many, born and bred, white Americans dream of bringing down the federal government every night?

Condemner a whole, for what is obviously the actions of a part is illogical to say the least.

How many abortion clinics and federal buildings were blown by extremist Christian groups in the last year? Hell let's say the last 10 years.

How many things were blown up in the name of Allah in the last 10 years?

Hmm... perhaps there is a fault in your comparison.

Response to: Omg Muslims Stop It! Posted April 12th, 2006 in Politics

I find it interesting that we can immediatly lable someone or a group of people as racist and it's acceptable but it is somehow wrong to describe a society with a strong tendency towards senslessly blowing up civilians as having an affinity for terrorism.

Also just because not everyone participates in the terrorist activities that doesn't mean they don't support them.

Response to: Omg Muslims Stop It! Posted April 12th, 2006 in Politics

I am sick of hearing "Muslims are really good people and it's just a corrupt few who create a bad image." FUCKING BULLSHIT!!!

We are talking about a group of people who had large violent protests over fucking cartoons. How about the majority of Palestinians electing a terrorist organization to lead their government? What about the absolute jubilation in the streets of Muslim countries after the terrorist attacks of September 11?

If someone can explain to me how a large proportion of the Muslim population doesn't support terrorism despite these obvious contradictions I won't dismiss your idiotic, happy, "there is no reason everybody can't get along," ignorant ideology as the best reason I can think of for our society to be wiped out.
