About Google, Google has filters based on where you are, in accordance with your local law.
In China for example you can't google for specific massacres in which the Chinese police force was involved, to bypass the filter you simply put in www.google.com/intl/XY/ where XY = a language, as en or de for example. You go straight to prison for serveral years for that. It really depends on where you live and for what reasons the filter was set up.

You can't have anything similar to that when being on the computer 24/7, assuming you communicate with other human beings. If you don't talk a lot, having a conversation will be like reading off a script and you can get better at that.
