This is gonna be a close call.
I'll probably be a few minutes late, 'cause I have to compile/upload the pages, so I hope that's okay.

The biggest complaint with simplistic art is that anybody would be able to draw it.
Like, it's been happening forever.

Anybody could've made it, but you and everyone else didn't.

Cry about it.
Really? 1 min.

That looks cool, though.
Even if you made it in one minute, That still says something about the way you were feeling when you made it.
You can critique drawing and draughtsmanship skills, because a realistic style is closer to what everyone actually sees,
but I dunno which rulebook on abstract art you guys are following.

But yeah, if corporations that aren't even based in America have their foot in the door, so they can claim copyright lawsuit money, we have a problem.

I don't even know how the hell it even made it this far, it shouldn't have even been given a second glance, with how much American internet laws would, affect other countries.
Why should I, living in Canada, be negatively affected by a bill passed in America?
The internet shouldn't belong to any one nation, considering how it's a global affair, with it's own "economy", so to speak.
So much of the internet is based in america, so if this bill passes, then the US government is basically making a global decision on it's own.
...That doesn't sound quite right, hey?

Downscaling .swf dimensions? Posted December 2nd, 2011 in Game Development

Hey, I was wondering if there's a way to downscale the dimensions of a .swf on export?
I'm experimenting with HD. I know some of you might tell me that I can change the dimensions of it when I export it as an MPEG, or an MOV, and it would be HD, but I'm playing around with using photoshop to draw all of the frames, because the drawing tools in flash are kinda bad. So yeah, I don't want the PNGs/JPEGs to be upscaled if I change the export settings to higher dimensions. That's for video playback and stuff, but then, I'm left with a really big SWF, which I'd wanna post on NG and other places, too.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat do I do?

Response to: How do I tell her that I like her? Posted September 6th, 2011 in General

Just tell her.
If you two are friends, she'll let you down easy. worst case scenario.

Response to: Why do I hate everyone? Posted September 6th, 2011 in General

You hate yourself, so you project it onto others.
You'll never be happy, because you like to hold onto the things that make you mad.

Kay, man. As it stands, I cant work on this until 9:00, I have to work on an oil painting for school.
I figured you wouldn't mind the sketchiness of it so far, because you know I can draw. I'd like to point your attention to the scene where the guy kicks the door in, though there's not much to go on, this shot shows that I understand movement even at crayzay angles. If you don't get it, it's supposed to be my friend shooting me with robotic gun-fingers after I try to eat his birthday cake. Anyway, if I'm elected prom queen, I promise to make a mega-sweet part for this super-great collab.

Okie-dokes, I'm gonna make a flash for my friend's birthday, and it's coming up pretty soon, so that's some good timing. I plan to make it action-filled and dynamic, so you'll see more full body shots. Keep me on your mind :D

Hi Goat-Guy, I'm definitely interested in taking part in this LOVELY series.
It's too bad though, I don't have very many animations posted to Newgrounds. Howevs, I am an active animator.
Most recently, I made a part for the 3rd 24 hour collab (Side B, which isn't out at the moment)
That can be seen here, and while you're at it, you can check out the other animations I have posted on that account. I spent an entire 24 hours working on that collab part, so I can safely say that I can be relied on.
At the moment, I'm working on
this.
I've made a number of animations under the alias of "4" on this youtube channel, that my friends and I made(I linked you to the playlist with all of my videos).

I really hope I can take part in this, it's my new years resolution to further my craft, and make a name for myself. After my plate is clear, I hope to start a series, and I can't think of a better way to start the year than to get in on a tried and true collab series. Later, broski.
