Cigarettes are even more addictive but they do not lead to anything worse.

I don't smoke and I don't like the smell but if you want to smoke that is your own goddamn business.
It will be IMPOSSIBLE to make cigarettes illegal and by that I mean it will be impossible to make people stop smoking.
But when you do it in a confined area in close proximity to a child, that's what I have a problem with.

and so far as marijuana goes I realize that it is less deadly than cigarettes, however it is illegal and I do not like it smoked around me. I am uncomfortable around it and would still be should it ever be legalized.
