Those are Linkara's upcoming Atop the Fourth Wall episodes (he reviews bad comic books).
Countdown was a weekly series from a couple years back that is riddled with plotholes, horrible writing, the heroes being way out-of-character, and pacing that's just fucking slow.
It was so bad that the event it was counting down to "Final Crisis" just retconned it making sure it had nothing to with the big story.
Though Final Crisis was in the hands of Grant Morrison who's writing is known to be a little... mindscrewy so it didn't help in that case.

Big Site Updates.
T-Shirts will be available early-Mid July
A brand new site involving the nightlife will be launched with shows about bars, clubs, sports, and more.
Blistered Thumbs will get a separate site due to that section cluttering up the main site.
After Blistered Thumbs, a site dedicated to comics and anime.

There's a possibility Channel Awesome will be at Wizard World Chicago in August but nothing is set in stone. If it does happen, then I'll be going to Wizard World the first time in 3 years.

I've seen one of her videos before, she did a 10 minute rant on Stephen King's truthful comments towards Stephenie Meyer (claiming she can't write worth a darn) and her main defense was "Stephen King is just jealous because Twilight is getting more recognition then his boring books"

Here's a fact, video games are a business. Businesses need to make money. While some companies practice bad business by over-saturating the market with a low-quality product, most look out for the widest audience to target their new product.
That is why the Nintendo Wii has been a huge success, Nintendo sees the vast untapped market and reaches for them (even though they show this by making moronic speeches that piss off their already established fans).
Harmonix knows The Beatles are the biggest rock band in history and that way know people will buy their product.

The Beatles are the biggest rock group in history. Say what you will about their songs but they changed music.
In fact the rights to The Beatles are very exclusive, they aren't even digitally distributed via iTunes or Amazon.
Also, Rock Band is nowhere close to bombing. If anything Guitar Hero is more likely to die overnight due to excessive milking of the cashcow.
Also Lego Rock Band will be on consoles.

Word of Caution: Final Fantasy XIV is a sequel to Final Fantasy XI and thus happens to be a Massively Multiple Online Role Playing Game. Any high expectations will be shot down by insane level requirements, stupidly hard bosses, and entire armies of noobs. You have been warned.

Well he posted his last schedule on his site after his Sultry Teenage Super Foxes Review (which was the last review on his previous schedule) so I'm guessing he'll release his next schedule after tomorrow's review of "The Marriage of Hercules and Xena #1" (this sounds like crap).

But yeah I want to see him destroy One More Day. He's stated on the TGWTG forum and his video comments that Countdown will come in (I think) July.

On another note, why do people like That Chick with the Goggles so much? I'll admit she's hot but her videos are boring. I tried watching her Ecco Tides of Time review and I couldn't get through it.

The ones I read regularly are Penny-Arcade, Digital Unrest, and (if it will ever update) Fanboys-Online.
Seriously Fanboys was the best, then he took the criticisms of SomethingAwful.com too seriously and changed his style and format, then stopped updating.
The problem was taking SomethingAwful seriously.

But yeah, those are the gaming webcomics I read. Unless Brawl in the Family counts then that's another one.

Half of the posts in this thread are good examples on why I hate humanity and we're all going to destroy ourselves out of stupidity.

Earl finds out that he is Dodge's real dad and that Darnell is not Earl Junior's Father. The show ends with Joy about to explain what happened.

Either someone else will pick it up or we'll have to beg and plead with show creator Greg Garcia on what happens next.

Terminator Review (includes NES, SNES, and Sega CD Versions)

It was a pretty good episode. I liked the wrench bit and the reaction at the results.
Also the ending, looks like the Nerd is going to face his oldest arch-nemesis yet again.

But Wait! What about Beary? Surely Benzaie's son deserves some credit in making him the great man he is today?

Makes sense. Most of World Tour's setlist was bullcrap made in this decade despite GH Sales exceeding Rock Band's (also helps that Activision releases 10 titles a year).
It's been established that Activision doesn't care what they release as long as people buy it and they can release a ton of sequels.

Oh, I forgot to mention a little tidbit from the Press Release that will piss off quite a few people.
"Half the songs are from this decade and 1/4th are from the last 18 months"
I guess releasing 40 games a year makes you lose perspective on the fanbase.
