I've not personally seen DNA.
I've not personally seen viruses attack me to give me a disease, IT COULD be evil spirits.
I've not personally seen plate tectonics in action.
I accept these things technically on faith, so I SUPPOSE science COULD be considered my religion.
Beats the hell out of believing in a God who will send me to hell if I eat pork, have sex before marriage, or decide I want to worship a rock.

And anyone who says otherwise is working for the government.
Has ANYONE in this thread seen Zeitgiest?(Also, did I spell that right?>.>)
I like how God & Jesus seem to be only loving of the Israelites.
Forget about everyone else.
Less government. Having a large government has failed horribly, so obviously we should see what happens with a small one.
Personally, I believe homosexuals have every right to be married. I don't want to be denied any reasonable right, I do not think they should be either.
I say reasonable right because I dont think I should have the right to murder my neighbor because I don't like him.
Why has no one mentioned the Panspermia theory here?:l
I agree with this court decision. It makes sense for environmentalists to be protected, if people who worship the Flying Spaghetti Monster can be considered religous, I figure anyone with a different belief, ideaology, etc. should be protected.
Also, i'm for freedom of religion. I don't force Atheism on my neighbor, I don't want Jediism forced on me.

Since when is Creationism proven?
I wont make any implications, but 98% of the African American voters in my state voted for Obama.
I won't say anything more.

My ideaology:
Don't fight, we all only have one life. The wooden t is a LIE.
I win the thread.
Well alright, here goes.
First things first, I would hire a commitee to weed out pork and other wasteful spending.
Next, I would offer a tax cut to ANY business of ANY size that was willing to put money into a personal safety net for unprecedented, the cut being equal to the amount put away, with the rule being the money is untouchable unless they need it for saving themselves, exceptions are likely.
Next, I would see what I could do about cutting down on goverment spending. Massive over-inflated Military Budget?Prepare to be cut to pree-9/11 levels. Educational programs?Prepare to be made-over. 130-odd military bases we have worldwide?Either sell em' or rent them.
After that, I would push for more solar/wind/hydroelectric power, so that we can lessen our oil dependancy. First company to make an easily mass-produceable full electric car gets a big tax break. Same goes for hydrogen cars.
Next, I would change the National motto back to "E Plurubus Unum". The current one is too largely based on the Christian God.
Next, I would remove "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance for the same reason. After all, if we're forcing religion on our people, how are we ANY better than the Communists of the USSR? Didn't we put "Under God" in the pledge just to differintiate ourselves from them?
Next, ask the Supreme Court to see about abolishing the Federal Reserve Bank's ability to produce money, on the grounds it is unconstitutional, since the Constitution clearly states that power lies with Congress. If that fails, ask Congress to pass a bill giving the power back to them. If that fails, inform America en masse about how the Federal Reserve Bank works and get it forcibly changed.
Push for good foreign relations. We're all stuck on this planet (for now), we might as well pretend to get along.
Do what I can to pull troops out of the Middle East.(Assuming we are still there when I am elected.)
Make many long-term investments and try to work with other countries in getting debt forgiven, or at least have them not add interest. work out a plan of paying it all off in the next 100 years or so.
Attempt to get our dollars backed by gold again, instead of nothing.
After this, I would push to get stricter enforcements on the stock exchanges. No good to have a free market if the market falls apart due to it's own stupidity, and we do not seem to learn from History's mistakes fiscally.
Make prisons a lot less lavish. Maybe we will have less people in jail if instead of AC, TV, no work, good food, and replace that with books, climate control only extremes, minimum wage factory jobs and making prisoners use the money from that job to pay for their food.
Push for major anti-drug programs. Put very high Excise taxes on Cigarettes, Alcohol, etc.
Attempt to make prostitution legal, with strict STD testing and licences required, investigators for pimps become a major government job, if any woman is found to work for a pimp, she loses her license. You may flame the hell out of me for this one, but I consider it a good idea, as semi-controlling the trade is better than just having it run rampant and funding gangs.
Repeal Patriot Act.(If possible, I will try to avoid saying I WILL do it, as some things you cannot keep.)
Make GM an independant company again, but let them know that they are NOT too big too fail. Let ALL companies know they are not too big to fail.
Make the US interior very appealing, in an attempt to get people to move out of the Sun Belt and spread everyone out, possibly making more jobs available in the Sun Belt, and increasing agricultural output from the Bread Basket, spurring economic growth.
Call all world leaders together on the issue of demilitarization.
I could keep going, but I am out of ideas for the moment.....Please send feedback.

5 or 10 years in prison won't make up for killing somebody.
I know, people in prisons live better than some people NOT in prisons. It is completely ridiculous, I say they should be put to doing hard labor, no TV, and AC only if it is like 110 degrees, a meal a day for behavior, a meal a day for hard work.

Way to stereotype a bunch of people you obviously don't know about.

There IS no free will. Only very advanced intelligence.
No not really.
But this may be due to the fact intelligent women seem rather hard to find, whether they admit it or not.
I think i'm finding more and more uses for this quote every day.
Is God unable to do away with evil?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is god unwilling to do away with evil?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both willing and able to do away with evil?
Then from where cometh evil?
Is he both unable and unwilling to do away with evil?
Then why call him God?

I remember a quote about this somewhere:
100 people get swine flu and everyone wants to wear masks on their face.
1,000,000 people get AIDS and no one wants to wear a condom.
One of the most true statements ever made.
I would say we do not have free will. Not at all.
Even if it can not be defined entirely, I believe our thoughts and choices are dependant upon what our brain tells us.
Our thoughts processes are partially genetic (guys are horndogs, I might possibly be able to learn things faster than you, You think mathematically while I think logically, etc.).
Our thought processes are also cultural, sociological, and environmental.
Everything comes together by chance, and so we have our brains tell us how to respond to each situation independantly.
There is no free will. Only very advanced intelligence.
To answer you:
There is no God. There is no Deity. No Entities.
As far as I am concerned, no religion can possibly be correct, or one would have to assume they all were.
The Greeks had their own system, it died out.
The Byzantines had their own system, it died out.
The Egyptians had their own system, it died out.
In today's society, there is a relgion based on worship of the Flying Spaghetti Monster (quite literally, look it up)
Funnily enough, they all thought (Think, in the case of the FSM worshipper's case, but for this posting segment, I refer mostly to the extinct religions) they were completely correct.
Also, who else is completely undeniably wrong even with the faces of geology, physics, and biology?
Anyone in America should be very familiar with this religion, it is called Protestant Christianity.
Now, if we were to say the fairy tales are true, and a guy who is split into one-thirds of himself to form a trinity deity DID create everything, he is supposedly omniscient, and so he would have to know everything. So I SUPPOSE the magic man would know if he was the big guy in and out of existance.

To answer your question about how long it will be until we are all Atheists.....i'll say probably never.
If physics, geology, biology, genetics, and other sciences havent convinced people a magical entity in the sky did not create them, I doubt anything will.
Having people turn to Atheism has been a real pain, so as far as I am concerned, religous folk can waste their only life worshipping a book and a wooden t.
I on the other hand will enjoy my life.
To everyone who says to get the most out of life, I'm going to say here and now, I hate you. A lot. I will do what I enjoy in my life, all of which is legal, unlike what the vast majority of Christians ive seen enjoy.
Quite honestly, I love my meats....
I was born and raised an omnivore, good luck changing me, but quite honestly I think it is ridiculous for any animals to be tortured for food.
I say random practices inspections and federal spies into food manufacturers should be legalized. If they are found to be torturing animals, sue the living hell out of them.
From my recent article readings online, unless some miracles happen sometime soon (I'm an Atheist by the way, to show you how likely I think that will be.) we will face a total economic collapse in the next 15 years. My advice to you is buy gold bullion, guns and ammo, and a lot of very long lasting food.
