I'm still trying to think whether the PS3 or 360 will be best for me. I've used my TV as the laptop's monitor a few times and it is really good. :) However, my sister's fiance has used his 42" TV for his PC so that puts all our TVs to shame.

I have some interest in the LucasArts pack but I'm still waiting for Grim Fandango and the other Monkey Island games to come out, assuming they will be but I can't see why not. As for Osmos, it's only £2 so I might as well pick it up. I'm looking forward to the other stuff they'll put on sale.

On the subject of tag names, I really don't like using them at all. I just want my display name only and nothing else and if a group wants me to use their tag, too bad because I refuse to use them.

Yes but I was expecting a full team of mods to be playing against regulars. Perhaps having them all on at once would have helped but of course, some may have had to deal with other things beforehand. Oh well, there's always other times.

I have a few things to mention:

1) There's a minor error with level 45 in the Experience Progression page. The EXP requirement is meant to be 21,490 and not 21,940. I noticed this when I saw how long it would take me to get to level 46 from 45 and it definitely won't take less than two months. :P

2) It's probably better if you talked to citricsquid about this and see what he thinks but the Top Posters link in the Affiliates page goes to his old site name and not m00d.

3) What are your thoughts on Batting Averages? Since the redesign, they haven't been working on NG Log and are only found on author searches these days. Whatever happens to BA, I'll let you decide.

Roughly 25 minutes. 10 minutes to pull the stats and 15 minutes to sort out the spreadsheet with the latest info and then post it on the BBS. It's actually a piece of cake in comparison to my other three lists.

The update changes appear to be all good with everyone, so starting from the update on 6th December, 75+ pacers will be abolished to make way for top 10 pacers and milestones. Also, as stated last week, I'll be in London next Friday so next update will be on the 30th. It's necessary for me to give you all a second reminder incase anyone forgets. ;)

I mostly hear bad things about RCT3 and from the looks of it, it's a good thing I'm giving it a miss. RCT2 on the other hand, I wouldn't mind getting sometime. After all, I did see a deal for that, Theme Hospital and Sim City 3000 for £15 so that's something to look into sometime after Christmas.

Indeed, the Oblivion at Alton Towers is puny in comparison to it. Amazingly enough, any vertical roller coasters with a similar design to that will have an intensity rating of around 8.50 - 9.50 and not ultra extreme as I originally predicted.

That's odd. I always thought the intensity ratings had everything to do with vertical and horizontal G's and it seems your coaster must have high ratings on those.

Yes, this is what I did with almost every park I went through. These are definitely good to build up money. However, I always went with £2.50 - £3 at first and then lower the prices whenever the guests started complaining about the expenses. Now I really want to get back to this game and see what happens when I build lots of shuttle-powered roller coasters.

I always research thrill rides first since they seem to make loads of money...

Heh, researching roller coasters is always my top priority unless I need certain shop stalls or could do with more gentle/thrill rides for some diversity.
