In some sick way debating on the programs are way more usefull for info than asking questions itself.
Chrona lets kill that B0UNCE...Disgraces my name :P
<3<3<3
Well a logic guess is that you export the cut out part as an umcompressed file (wave, wav) which makes the file size. However the sound problem may be in the way you export. Are there any specific sound options you select before you export?

try every other slot it fits into....
could also be the hadphones cheap headphones dont usally work...
Mic slot = Input
Ok I'll do that tomorrow if Extracy wont do that before me :P

Wrong.
Typing - is like saying "FFS DON'T FUCKING SHOW ME ANYTHING LIKE IT IN MY SEARCH"
However try "Wav2Mp3 converter"
Oh god w8, lemme think..I think i have an adress with tons of soundfonts containing sounds from those games...hmmmm
Handlign a compressor can eb a challenge itself, and completely depends on what kind of music its used on.
Everyone wants a fast compressor that keeps from peaking but still busts out the beats.
However minimal attack and release aren't always good, especially not if it's the master compressor you're fiddling with.
Using it on stabs and basslines + drums, strings and all other holla holla could definetly add soem serious buzzing sounds to it.
For example listen to my PoE and listen to the bassline in that, however i made that intentional.
Hmm maybe i should make some noob tutorials on the essentials in electronica?Using fl of course. How about that?
Completely depends on what type of games, 8 bit, 16 bit or what?

But then again I can't exactly put my finger on what exact element that made that track to what it is (popular *cough*).Doing wrong would just make me look stupid.
Well since you quoted my sentence I still said MANY not ANYONE ;).
Pretty nice info there ;).
But much of what someone can create depends on determination, practise and of course the sounds itself.
Using standard things are never good since it gets recognized, and you would never want anyone to say "Hey I hear thats made with Reason/FL o whatever".
I can say, the "loudness" of FL isn't necceserily (?) a bad thing, don't rely on it if you can't control it tho.
EX:
Want a louder kick?
Don't:
Max the volume
Lower the rest of the track and max the drum volume
Use an EQ to MAX the frequencies
Do
Use a compressor and the GAIN option, however put a stabile ratio on it.
Softclip if needed
And ehm..ye...Forgot what i was about to say..haha I'll fill in l8a.
Of course you/I listen to the songs we make, it's our babies damit, and we have the power to remove diceases and shit (peaking) from them, then when we succeed of course we are proud of it.
I don't want to remember how many times I've actually heard that fucking Paradise on E melo.
Took 5 mins to make from scratch, takes forever to forget.I'm thinking of doing a remix of it, but then again I might kill the spirit in it, or what do you say?

Heh thank you ;D.I guess thats because i also have a big sample arsenal unlike many others
Have you tried Reason? Did you like it? I am guessing you are sticking with FL anyway.
Yes, no and YES
I hated the sequencer, those colors made me blind for like a day or something.
Honestly now, no i didn't like it, but that doesn't make it crap.
And for everyone else saying that reason is better than FL
You can't say something is better unless you master BOTH of them, and I honestly doubt many of you does.
I don't say Reason is shit, because thats pretty much proved it isn't, but at the same time I don't say that FL owns Reason am I?
Reason may have nice samples coming with the program, but then again I survive with my 20 gigs and FL.
And this is like dedicated to everyone. If I need to clear something out then tell me and I'll do that.

It isn't.
Just wanted to get 1 thing clear, who is bounc3?never heard of him.Altho i know this uberleet swede called "b0unc3" with a zero...
Thats basicly what i meant :P.The default is 4 no matter what ;)

NIcolas..
That doesn't make sense.
Actually I wasn't talking about reviews at all :P.It's just a feeling I have that whatever i make isn't satisfactory anymore hehe ;)
Default = 4
I would reccomend 8 at first, but if thats to small I'd go for 16.
Do a DK remix that actually sounds good ;)
Native instruments, V station and superwave p8 too
At 8/21/05 09:34 AM, PiePie wrote: just remember songs without vst's and stuff are rather boring just look at my music :)
Just get a cool synth sample and create loop points on it ;)Then u have a neat lead synth without the use of a vst.
For the bassline just get a great bass sample and make it cut itself all the time.Cutting it at the same lenght as the highest velocity note played could be a good idea.
And now I lost myself here...Damn alcohol, don't drink that shit kids.........
:Give it to me!!!:D
Because it's about an audio artist 8-).
I don't see that as anything to be happy about :S.I haven't submitted anything of my own in a while either.I just feel that i've lost something in my productions :S
whoops haha sorry.Dunno what i was thinking, ye you are right ;).

LX, I don't use pre-packaged loops.
Ok...
Dance ejay 1?;D...
No really, the point in this thread kinda vanished and went into some flamin shit. Why not take this shit privately instead?
Now i didn't listen to his music, but it's his choice in what software he uses right?
If he uses premade samples so what?I doubt anyone of you makes your own samples from scratch anyway, am i right?
I didn't read EVERYTHING here but really, come on?!Are u all involved 2 years old or what?
Kinda waste of bandwith for Liljim and C.o if arguments are all over the BBS right?
Btw this isn't B0UNC3, it's LX.But cba to log in on my own account.
Cheers all
Ok first of all the whole thing about doing a certain genre to get known....That really is so complex to answer so i wont even do it in the BBS.
0 voters...Well this ain't heaven, and there is not a single place in the world were absolutely NO ONE doesn't want to get higher up the top and still have a golden heart.Look at schools and tell me there is a single school without any bullies.Do that...
Also 1 thing can be this, actually listen to whats on the top of the chart of your specific genre.Try to replicate but still make it ur own. That would give you a boost in the charts.
You Can't manipulate the listener, but you Can manipulate the music you create.
There are 2 main kinds of producers. The one doing it for fun, and wants to feel appreciated...
For fun Producers
Un-Constructive reviews do just fine for those
The serious producer
Then there is the kind of producers who actually try to make something out of it.
Constructive reviews pretty much are the only things wanted.
I do both to be honest, but i have never really seen anyone on here that actually does give constructive criticism. And those who actually gets it almost always bursts out in flmaes and call you retard or something.
Ok the alcohol is leaving my body and I just need a cup of coffee and i'll complete this post...
