Cubase or Logic pretty much fucks Reason and FL up, but I'm more comfortable with FL and thats why I stick with it. If you don't like the area you work in things will not work...Which is why I DON'T use anything except FLReason is to bright for my superduper eyes.

Really? I thought everyone on NG thought they were to great to get fans, or that fans only gather around crap =).

Now u destroyed my beliefs

Response to: New equipment!!! Posted April 24th, 2006 in Audio

A NEW Microdrive frontpanel. With 2 MIDI IN/OUT ports and all various stuff you could ever want ;). And another synth programming booklet, tho I guess that wouldn't count as equipment.

Response to: Ask your FruityLoops questions here Posted April 24th, 2006 in Audio

Here's another question, why don't you read the stickies?
And another one. If you don't find it in the stickies, why don't you try Gooohgulle ?

For a new project to gain fast recognition what would be best?

Remix a heavy weight song and make it hit even harder or...
Make an original song first and still make it hit hard.

Response to: Computer problems (Soundcard) Posted April 22nd, 2006 in General

I'll check the slots for dust, thx for the tip :). I just tried to switch soundcards, but that didn't help at all, so i figure the problem is somewhere else too.

Response to: Computer problems (Soundcard) Posted April 22nd, 2006 in General

I had an audagy in my studio cpu before. But That card gave me similar problems, but there was no warranty left so I figured it was of no use, so it's gathering dust in my closet.

The card worked fine just after putting the rams in (yesterday) but the problem occured today :/.

I'm clueless.

Response to: Computer problems (Soundcard) Posted April 22nd, 2006 in General

Thanks for the link^^ I also put up a link to this post in the AF. But I can't see how my soundcard is broken since it works wonders...when it wants to :/

Soundcard problems?! Posted April 22nd, 2006 in Audio

I figured it wasn't reasonable to post the same thing twiece so please go here to see if you can figure out the problem :).

Computer problems (Soundcard) Posted April 22nd, 2006 in General

Hi, I'm just a music producer here on NG and well, yeah thats it.

Based on the fact that I produce music must be pretty self explanionary that I depend on my soundcard alot.

The soundcard I have is a SoundBlaster Live 5.1 with a front live! panel.

the sound was all working fine and such and still does (on occasions). But now yesterday I got my new ram memories for my computer (1024MB DDR PC2100).

It worked all wonders when I plugged my computer in and such, but today I get this WIERD extremely high "Noise hissing sound" sometimes during playback of ANY sound.Sometimes stopping and restarting playback helps, but most of the time it doesn't.

I've already checked the wires from the panel to the soundcard and they work fine, and so does my sound drivers. But I'm no cpu wiz so I was wondering if anyone could help me pin point the exact problem?

NOTE: The problem has NEVER occured before. The hissin ain't constant, only occasional but it's still keeping me from producing.

Help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks on before hand and sorry if this isn't the right place.

Only a dummy would say that!

Seriously it's the best thing out there - with what else can you create a completely new sequencer, instrument , effect - hell you name it - from the ground up?

What i meant was that a newbie would just....don't get it :P

Response to: Best Vst Plug-in Posted April 18th, 2006 in Audio

Reaktor is a type of plugin that i call "dumb proof". :P

Vanguard

Makes some decent effects, but can however make killer leads if you do it right ;).
