Do your best to make a name for yourself and get some good label acapellas instead :)..If you like a track then find out which label that artist is registered to.Then email them asking fi you could make a remix of the song..Now don't write silly shit like "Hi my name is Nils Eric and i'm 12 and i luv teh bikezor and t3h comput0rz m00sac maekin pogramrs".Write something that will get their attention.

Good grammar and a good use of punctuations is always good.
If they reply then simply send them a demo track of what you can make "thats where NG reviews are usefull".

"For example, me...I think it's pretty obvious that my best shot on one of my NG tracks would be PoE due to the massive overload of reviews. But enough about me."

If they like your demo they will most likely give you either a Yes or No...

Please make sure though that the track you send them is really high quality (not kbps) I mean it's good mixed and preferably mastered.Keep the bitrate low (96kbps will do fine) and send it to them.

With abit of luck you might just find yourself with a lebl acapella that no one else has...

Thats abit more of a "respect" feeling than ripped acapellas ;)

I've used both kinds and I know the rush you get in your body when the label say "Yes here you are (ACAPELLA DL).

And ehm ye...:P Ok I'll log out now for another 8 months...Cya

Make sure you don't route the kick sound through a bus with areverb on it.
Are you sure that it "echoes" Or does the sound just repeat itself?
Check the main window and check if the looping is turned on (Options for the kick)...If it is, then try to turn it off.

Response to: Recognition... Posted May 18th, 2006 in Audio

OR try to do your best to be as original as possible, find YOUR OWN sound....That is a BIG key to recognition

Response to: Fruity Loops vs. Reason and Cubase Posted May 17th, 2006 in Audio

Yeyeye daddy.
I'm just tired of the lack of a real concept behind everyones comments :P
Don't bitch something up before you know it as good as your own proggy.......

I just want atleast SOMEONE to get a brighter idea of how fucked up this is haha :P

dont get me wrong, fl is a very good program. but it just dosent have ALOT of fetures that cubase has.

ONCE again, just coz someone known uses soemthign doesn't mean it fucking owns everything?!

Ok wanna see how they can do the same dam things?
Take ANY synth in the programs which supports the simple standard wave shapes.
Take a saw on 1 oscillator and place a detune at 127 speed and about 2 mm to positive.

Oh god it sounds the same in all 3 programs....Does 1 program own the other in taht? NO
Why not?
Coz standard synth making with the same standards make what?
Ye the SAME sounds...
so what have you hopefuilly learned?

Software is from personal preference, just coz YOU suck doesn't mean the program suck.
Learn the basics with LOGIC, not what buttons you press....which is 1 thing many of the reason user might find hard with mixing and masetring with fl?(mastering in fl is fuckign stupid).
There are programs like:
T-racks
Wavelab
Soundforge
and so on....

Well the point being that why waste your energy to beat the crap out of others personal choice? It most likely ends up in flaming and no point taken on any part.
If you manage to amek somethign fantastic on 1 program then "GO you".

Pro's use what they like to use, thats why they know it so well and also made them what they are.

I feel im loosing my point here now, but anyway....Grow up and accept each others choice...Freedom of speech...yes...but its just stupid to provoke....

Response to: Fruity Loops vs. Reason and Cubase Posted May 16th, 2006 in Audio

Really bjra, FL, cubase and reason shouldn't be compared.
They are ALL sequencers
They can ALL produce sounds with the core installment
They can ALL import samples
FL and Cubase has a bigger range of softsynths but those need to be downloaded first
Reason has a small range of thiong to download but however has powerfull sofsynths built in already.
Fl has the ability toi change skins
Cubase cna change colour schemes
Reason can ?

I'm a FL/Cubase user myself but im pretty fucking tired of everyone trying to tell each other that their software is better. If you cant use the software it doesn't matter WHAT software you use coz u will still most likely suck major ass.And then blame the application instead of your own lack of learning ability.

I use FL myself, but I have the same respect for Reason and cubase users. What if craftmen would go at each other like fucking morons just because 1 of them has a smaller hammer and more nails than the other one who has a bigger hammer but less nails?

DAEM, I'm sorry for my outburst but seriously if you don't like or DO like any program keep it to yourself and don't provoke each other 8-).

Oh yeah? How about learning hwo to properly do it then?
And if you have problems mixing its prolly either bad hearing or sucky speakers. If you can't keep volumes levels as they should be then its not fls fault is it?;)

Response to: How 2 get a good synth on Reason Posted May 16th, 2006 in Audio

Solid acid sounds could be done byt selectign a saw wave and adding alot of resonace to it.

Cubase is a good choice, tho every program is gr8 if you just take time to learn it.

Response to: Compression/Mastering Techniques... Posted April 28th, 2006 in Audio

If you are still touching up the sound individually "in the project file itself" then that'd go into the category of MIXING (IE: lolfuckingshit.flp), MASTERING on the other hand is when smack the fucking shit out of a solid waveforom (IE: lolfuckingshit.wav)

Response to: Mp3? Posted April 27th, 2006 in Audio

Then export as a wav and check the sticky for mp3 encoders :)
