I'll eventually get a bio up here, just can't think of things to say for my DEMO reel, so hard to think of character voices when I don't know my lines. My voice ranges greatly. Favorite character to do parody wise: Alucard :D, any Ideas for lines to use in a DEMO reel? Would really help me.

Can anyone do a sample animation, I need help trying to draw a kunai flying away from the view of the watcher. I can't do it and make it look good.

I need help animating something. I can do it, but it looks really crappy. I want to have a Kunai flying away from the view of the watcher, can someone show me how they'd do it?

Ok, Say I have a box standing there that you have to click on for the bomb to go off and destroy the box. Now instead of just scrolling over the box, and having the mouse be a bomb still, have it when you scroll of the box, the mouse has a little clock that appears on it, like a timer, so when you click, it makes the bomb explosion from there.

I already know how to make my own cursor, but how do I make it look like it clicks? Instead of it just sitting there being a plain mouse. I want it to do something when you click. I'm guessing this has something to do with making another frame inside the movieclip then typing in some AS code. What is the code for a Movieclip then acts as a mouse, that when I click, have it change to something else.

Example of what I'm looking for.

Your cursor is a bomb, and when you click the screen, anywhere, the cursor turns into a cloud that says 'boom' but changes back into the bomb after it plays the boom animation.

Please help.

Ok here is what you do. Highlight the frame in the timeline, where you want the music to stop at. Next go to your Action Panel, where you type in your Action Script codes.

In that box paste this simple code.
stopAllSounds();

Now when your movie gets to that frame with that code on it, your music will stop playing.

about 6 hours average for me, making drawings, and erasing them, doing test animations... I'm on flash right now, just taking a break.

Dragonjet is right. Also, you mentioned you aren't a very good drawer, we can also help with that as well. Post a picture of your art work, and we can tell you if the picture is un proportional, or give you tips and ideas, to help you improve the drawing.

Here let me help you out. First before asking others what they think about your drawing, ask yourself, what do you think about it? Yes I have to agree. The paragraph is bunched together and hard to understand. Also Naruto-Lock you need to have the background all one color, Basically white, and have the artist that join color over it, but leave the default at White.

You have to go to Putfile or Imageshack because that is a link to your Computer, we can't access that file, since it is only attact to the memory of YOUR computer, so stop giving us that link, go to Putfile, or Imageshack, and upload the .SWF file then give us that link, otherwise, stop posting here...

I'm not sure if a thread like this exsist, but if not, I'm hoping this helps some of the people on the Flash BBS.

Many of you are wondering, what is this thread for? Basically it is for the NG members that get on the BBS and create topics about, 'I have this Idea' or 'I need a Flash Artist' and sometimes the 'I'm a good flash artist but don't have any good ideas'. This thread is for NG members that want to come on the BBS and Collaborate with other NG members to produce flash movies.

This thread is mainly to reduce the number of topics that are created on the BBS, so instead of having to search through the threads, you can simply come on here, and post your ideas, and hopefully find someone that is interested in them.

For the Regs, please, don't come on here to flame the new people. We are an online community, lets act like one. So save your opinons about others, for when you review a flash movie, otherwise, no one cares about them.

So I hope this helps many of the new NGers and New Flash Artist, and Idealist. Have Fun!

I agree with everyone that this thread could improve, but the main problem is people being idiots to some of the "New" flash creators. (I don't use noob, sounds like I'm making noob into a subculture like goth or emo.) I use to be an Ass to the New flash artist, But I lighten up, since I was once a New person to flash, and it was hard. People flaming you left and right. I do still need improving, but the Naruto Collab kinda helped me relize I needed to improve, and even after my part was done the first month, some of the other artist in the Collab helped me improve.

If The flash thread is ever to become a better place, it has to start with everyone helping others improve, instead of just making fun off peoples flashes, or critizing them harshly. I mean we have "n00bs" notice the "00"'s these are the new flash people that I hate that suck and call other artist noobs when they suck more then the person they are making fun of. The only time I'll use the word n00b. But it will never be better since N00bs with no flash submittions, and only lvl 1 on NG's go around flaming others. So that is my opinon, and I hope others start to learn to help out, and not be assholes. Ok I'm done...
