Other interesting facts about Clabtrap emcees:

- Suddle is morbidly obese.
- Bill is a member of the Hutt clan.
- PiGPEN is easily the most famous emcee and has made international news.
- Butsaay both wears kilts and plays the bagpipes.
- Mickey Mao has been involved in aid programs teaching African children to rap.
- Wolfie was a Chicago drug lord before he converted to Sunni Islam and settled down for life.
- Rampant isn't actually British, he just really likes the accent.
- I am both gay and dating a Fante Princess from Africa.
- Vinstigator is a 6 foot long carnivorous reptile.
- Teqneek is actually hood af.
- TK lives in a crack den and is part of a part black part gay rap group called Rainbow Fist.

Not all of this is bullshit.

Response to: Your biggest composing peeve? Posted July 14th, 2013 in Audio

My biggest peeve is when kicks. I mean, it's a drum right? It's only going to be used for one song in like one place and it's not even carrying pitch (unless I get some distorted 909s cooking). So why does it demand such attention? This is true for dance, dnb, dubstep and hiphop (boombap, westcoast AND trap). And it kills me.

I like what everyone's saying about transcribing the music in their head, I'd say I've gotten reasonably good at that though. What kills me is not being able to recreate the sounds in my head.

Although I don't really see how that makes a big difference. Hip-Hop is colorless, guy.

How could you forget SJD mang? That's three black dudes (two of whom you battled and won against). Four if you count the incredible beast that was TVJ.

True say though, hiphop isn't some treehouse club with a "No Whites" sign nailed beneath.

If you're doing it that way it should work inversely as well.... meaning if you don't make it to round 2 you "regardless of the public vote" lose your 32 battle.

In b5 tiedloss.

Damnnnn... I didn't think of that. It should be able to work retroactively, ie: if Vinnie loses against me and doesn't make it to round 2, it means he never battled you in the first place and you actually beat 4fterthot to advance.

Yo Vinsthegator, I've been thinking, seeing as you're leaving shitty reviews and stuff we seem to have moved into a new level of beeph. I don't like your style, you reaaallyyy don't seem to like mine and besides, your RMP/ ROF era oldfag attitude pisses me off hella. Let's settle this in a blind 32 battle.

One catch: Whoever loses to an entirely open vote (save accounts created after today) ducks out of the comp after their next battle.

This means that should you lose, you have to tell Pachilis that you allow him to win, regardless of the public vote and if I lose, then I'll tell Phonix/ Prom the Don the same. Seeing as we've moved past respectfully disliking each others styles, and you seem to think you could beat me so easily, I would say that there's no reason for you to disagree.

Oh yeah, and I also say we use a Teddygram beat and ask Teddygram to vote on the battle.

Oh yeah, I mean if there's one thing it shows it's that the rap-battle spirit is universal. Plus, flyting is also recorded in Norse and Danish culture so it could just as easily be called Viking culture.

Interesting though, if you look at the rhyme schemes in these "flytings" they were all in that standard old school, pre-Rakim flow. Which means that in less than twenty years time the Golden Age of hiphop pushed the style of rhyme schemes further than the previous two millenia.

But, that said, try and get your hands on the Flyting of Dunbar and Kennedy. It does read like a super long rap battle, it's not just bullshit, it's the same "you're a coward", "your mum's a whore", "your wife's a slut" stuff as you'd hear today. Most interesting part is that King James IV would join in with the flytings! So it's a royal tradition.

Well, mate, that might be an accent thing. I honestly never have a problem with understanding Butsaay's rapping, but he has a strong non-American accent which Americans don't tend to be so great with. I would say that if you write down the lyrics and look at them, Butsaay destroyed you (imho).

You and Buttsay both say you don't "get my style" or that I straight up suck. But yet I get praise/props/support from veterans like MadFLeX and SenatorJohnDean (both have said I have a very good chance at winning this year). So continue leaving your biased reviews and keep voting against me. Most people can see right through that shit

Lol take it easy bro. I'd agree you got some great energy and delivery, but as an MC there are some big holes in your repertoire- namely word play, rhyme schemes, imagery, multis and syllable placement. If you ask Flex or SJD I can guarantee they'd say the same.

Shit, none of us here are perfect and there's stuff you do a lot better than me, but I think if you and I battled you would get raped lyrically. Hey, that's the hiphop attitude though, right? I could be wrong, like I said you might have some great bars I just haven't heard. What would you say's you're most bar-sy track, with the most top tier lyricism? Hell, what's your favourite bar you've written?

Despite what you evidently think, I want to get everyone's style here. I want to think my scene's full of dope rappers (if you can call NG a scene, and in some ways you probably can). I want you to prove me wrong, like I thought PiG proved me wrong against Maverick last year or like R-Av did against Gasmasq. At the moment though, all I'm hearing is good delivery and limited lyricism. With lots of punch ins.
