Actually, since I've found breaking to work with motion I'm going to use that to my advantage. Instead of the text moving off screen I'm going to have each individual letter fly off in a different direction. In the end, I geuss this will make my Flash movie better, lol. Exactly! I don't see a problem either! Like I said, I've used this exact same method countless times before and its worked fine. I've fucked around with this for hours now but to no avail. When I break the text, motion works fine but then I have to move every single letter and in perfect unison (which I reeeeallly dont want to do, its so time consuming). There must be some stupid small glitch somewhere that I'm overlooking...

Both textboxes are MC's. You don't see the problem? Niether do I, lol. I'll try not converting the textboxes to MC's and just using a shape tween.

Breaking the text? What would that do...and if I did would I do that specifically to the text box or to the MC containing the text box?

Aaargh! I'm trying to do some moving text for an upcoming Flash Submission of mine but for some reason it wont work. Here's what I have:

Two pieces of text are on seperate layers. Each textbox has been converted to an MC and thirty frames ahead on the timeline I have inserted a keyframe on both layers where they're off screen. For the 28 frames in between the two keyframes I have created a motion tween (once again on both layers).

I've used this method many times before and it's worked. For some reason though, this is time Flash is being stubborn and wont do it. Now that I think about it, it hasnt been letting me fade MC's out either. What could possibly be the problem?

A piano solo I wrote over the weekend. Written in A Minor and inspired by Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata". Feedback is appreciated, as this is a new direction in my music.

i remember i submitted mine and i waited and waiting for it to be approved. a week later, i checked the audio portal and it turns out it had been approved within 24 hours of submitted ut =P. felt pretty dumb then.

lol, thats not what i meant. im applying to a program for 9th grade (im in 8th) and from then on i might not be dealing with audio at all.

i hate those too but without adverts we wouldnt have the net...which would obviously suck.

dont think ill be doing anything audio wise. im applying to an advanced mathematics and computer science program at some highschool and from then on i think ill be dealing heavily with programming.
