Therefore, i do not submit bad flash movies to NG. What would be the point? They would get horrible reviews, and the BC would take it off very quickly. Do you see my point? When the same users enter the same shitty quality movies over and over, then the principle of the fact changes...Its not that the movie was "Crap", its that the creator did not try. Ill use that old clock movie "B" as an example...it didnt matter that it sucked, it mattered because it was supposed to suck. Thats what one of those loony clocks wanted.

You've got a point, my perception of BC probably is bad...and like you I'm really in the same boat with flash...I do agree with you bad flash does waste time on NG...but my problem is that Blam Club has a real membership problem (EZ4 over there is a great example) I think if the Blam club wants to do some good then the bad members like EZ4 should be removed because they only hurt your image. I have not thought of my arguments as being about you guys adhearring to a standard (however I absolutely see how it would come off that way and I think I need to go back and perhaps re-evaluate my approach). I just feel like it's everybody's job on NG to get rid of what they feel is bad, and that some people in BC want to feel like there on one level, and anyone who is non-bc is below that (I don't consider you one of them as you have provided very good and mature points on this subject) and that's something that I think has no place on a site like this. I agree movies will be blammed no matter what...my question has been do we need a self appointed organization to speed up that process? My OPINION is that we do not, apparently many others feel this way as well.

This is bullshit. It may be true that the movie had an illegal script, but by no means should the users of NG's be TOLD to vote low. Ever since I first saw this movie, I loved it. It's a great mockery of the show Dragonball Z, which fans most of all will enjoy. I voted 5 then, and I will vote 5 now on this movie as well, illegal script or not. How would people react if it was discovered that "Steven Seagal: Episode 3" had some illegal voting script in it? Do you think anyone would listen to Tom, Wade, Ross, or whoever made this staff comment? No, I'm betting not.

DBZ In A Nutshell is a good movie, and damnit, it deserves a top position, even if the author had to cheat to get it there. Besides, the movie was not in the #36 spot for very long anyway. As far as I can remember, it's been in the top 15 for atleast a few months. Whoever made the decision to have us vote down this movie is an asshole, and I for one will not give in. You may have a different opinion about this movie, but it holds a warm place in my heart, and I'm not going to trash it.

The reason we join the club is because together we can blam more. We organize blam sessions where about 10-15 of us gather and just attack crap. We also post targets and message them to eachother so the movie gets attacked fast. And why would you think 80% are corrupt? How do you figure that? Even if MI4 sees a movie he doesn't really like, he'll still review based on effort. As for the similar reviews, MI4 IS RIGHT!! EZ3 story part 1 had no plot, and MI4 saw that. He was completely correct, and thus we said the same things in our reviews.

Most people in the BC, including myself, don't blam what they're told to. We aren't even told what to blam, we just have a target list of URL's that anyone can add to and anyone can vote on at their own leisure, if they so choose. I always watch movies before I vote, and I always give it what it deserves, regardless of who made it, on account that I don't have any beef with anyone at Newgrounds. The only movies I vote 0 for are the ones that deserve a 0 in my opinion, which are movies of total crap and effortlessness. Believe me, there are movies like this that have no effort in them at all. I'd prefer that Newgrounds' bandwidth be used on movies that I find enjoyable to watch. I'm in the Blam Club because I agree with getting rid of really crappy movies. The target list just helps me find them easier. I don't take orders from anyone, and I vote honestly on every movie I see. What more can I say? If it sucks, it sucks.

And that's fine...but some people don't share your views...they let their personal grudges dictate things...and their has become in some cases this idea that having a lot of blams is "cool" and I think that kind of attitude needs to be stamped out...vote bad because you think it's bad not because you want to raise your blams...that's really the central issue that this thread is getting at...and I think that hitting Random search after you pick out a movie to watch from the portal for voting is effective too...maybe not as accurate as your "target lists" but I think it sends a better message...just the term "target list" has bad conotations and can lead some of the, shall we say, "less-enlightened" to think they have to follow this and blam these movies to be "in the club".

the man has a point...Bitching on a thread on the BBS dosen't really accomplish much, but what I think it did accomplish was that it proves that there is some very serious concern about the blam club's conduct (as a whole) and maybe it's time to form some type of petition or something or speak to the administrators...hell I'd love to see the blam club or somebody else set up a non-biased thread (cause hey let's be fair anything titled "Blam Club sucks!" That seems to be the tactic, "vote low because we say too" these guys are thugs, and the thing that pisses me off most is you have Wade Fulp going on there thread telling them to "blam DBZ: In A Nutshell" back down to 36th position because the author cheated to make it number one. WTF? I'm not endorsing cheating or anything, but can't Wade or Tom move that movie down themselves? Or remove it outright and let the guy resubmit it and start from scratch? What truly scares me is the fact that now we have the administrators endorsing this group of so-called "do-gooders" Fact is they don't really do a damn thing for this site...they talk about they're "great mission" oh, gee, I didn't think being Flash Nazis was high calling or anything. I've said t before and I'll say it again, the blam club is simply there to satisfy MI4, bottom line, and apparently he dosen't see fit to defend his club himself, by coming in and having a mature discussion with people...Well, that's fine, I think it's just proving what I've said, and what a lot of people have said, I'd ask the blam club to think on that, why is it that your boss dosen't want to come in here and have a discussion with us? Is he scared? Is he unable to do it as a lot of you seem to be? What's the deal?
