A 0.03 score at 5 votes is nothing.....but a 0.03 score at 45 votes is definite crap. So do the math and make the differential yourself....if it is 0.00 at 1 vote, it may not be crap, if at 23, then it is...

If the score is 4.00 or below....then it may suck.
You cannot tell if it is 3.33 at 3 reviews. That doesn't tell much. Make sure it has quite a few reviews, and then check it's score. Also it is recommended to read them. It may present problems or reasons it is crap without even watching it.

Size...
I myself just vote 0 unless it is REALLY popular if it is 2000K or higher. If it is that much, then check reviews and votes and either vote 0 or dont' vote at all if unsure.

Author...
If they make 2 or more crap movies, you can generally assume the rest suck too. Check them accordingly and vote.

Author 2...
If they have been known to spam or make viruses, be VERY wary and watch them carefully.

Size 2...
If it is 10k or less, it is about a 99% chance it is complete crap Watch it and view. Check reviews if you are wary of a virus.

More than once I have been able to figure out the author JUST by the title. Yes, I saw something along the lines of "anus" and guess it was by Kittyslasher before I even saw who made it! Also if it has poor spelling, it is a 99% chance it is crap. So if has poor spelling, MOST LIKELY it is a lamer. Don't judge fully.

pro: they help keep the portal "clean"
con: they don't give movies a chance; voting 0 just because it isn't as good as the the better work and they target by authors

From what I've heard the huge amounts of entrys into the portal aren't as evil on the bandwidth as most folks think (I've just heard that stated, I have no evidence one way or the other) I always felt that if this site was ever in any real danger of being shut down or something, the Fulps would probably start cutting down on some of the pre-existing movies or just put a cap on the portal and say "no new submissions until some room get's freed up" so, in light of that, the BLAM Club isn't really neccessary has been my thinking

Anyway, is it scary to anyone else how high the blam numbers for the "blam king and queen" were...and is scary to anyone else that there was a blam king and queen? I have ONE fucking blam in the entire time I've been on this site (and yes I did watch the movie...and hated it before I blamed it) the post about ranks being based on blams is why people are against the blam club. Because it emphasis the idea that blamming is cool, rather than blamming is something that is done for the health of this site...

I haven't ever made a movie and I'm not really down with them, hey if people would use their accounts to vote on five DIFFERENT MOVIES everyday (seems like a few folks just hit the same stuff all the time) then things would get blammed a hell of a lot faster...fact is NG is loaded with crap...but as guys like EZ3 (who I think has a point with a lot of his posts) have pointed out, if you kill somebodys first movies and write stuff like "that was the gayest fucking shit ever" it might discourage them and then someone who might be potentially as good as Tom Fulp will just give up. Like I say, I try to hit different movies everyday, and vote fairly and all that happy stuff...oh and I scrolled through the Blam Club thread today, might want to do something about those members that like to blast people personally and their movies...it just proves that people like EZ3 and Adam_Z aren't whining idiots (as some would like to think, because it's easier that way I guess)

Someone mentions the great Kane...Raziel is not as cool, I mean he finally figured out things weren't as black and white as he thought in Soul Reaver 2 but in the first one he was kind of stupid...Kane is great, he's selfish and he dosen't give a shit about being a hero it's just thrust upon him...he is greatest because he could work outside the video game medium (hell he's probably a rip of Anne Rice's Lestat any fucking way) honorable mention is of course Solid Snake
