Frankly, we know that for a fact, I'm responsible for one blam on this site...the thing that urks me is the fact that BC Target lists can be abused by folks who just want to blam things for the sheer fun of blamming them, I think the BC should trim down the membership, keep the target lists at their website, and do more towards making sure membership is restricted to those who will blam in the interest of helpin NG, rather than for the fun of it.
3) As to the remark about no one asking us to do this, we occasionally get requests directly from Tom or Wade to remove bad flash that is taking up a lot of space.

This I must respond to, since I have made those remarks many times. I must confess that I was incorrect in making them, you are right Wade and Tom have requested your assistance before...HOWEVER, I have said before and will continue to say that Tom is the boss of this site, it's his baby, and Wade helps him run it, if they see the site is not running correctly because of too many bad movies cluttering up space, then they should adapt the rules to get rid of them (the same as they would handle any other technical difficulty on this site) it should not be the users jobs to obediently get rid of movies they don't want here because of space issues, content, or whatever, that is simply deflecting the heat to you guys for blamming the movie, so they can stay popular and avoid making unpopular rules that might make some users go away (and frankly a rule like I have talked about, if it drives users away because they don't understand it, then I think we're better off without them).

Anyway, those were my thoughts, once again I apologize for my prior incorrect statements.

Nobody asked you to do this, it's the Fulps job to run NG...if the server or any such things are in trouble, then they take care of it, it's not the users problem to worry about, and if they say different then they're just being lazy. Nobody asks the BC or Blam Hunters to act as a content police, you took that upon yourselves and I think a lot of you (not all but a few) just do it because you get off on deleting people's stuff. So my point is you decided you wanted to dedicate your time on NG to deleting people's work, so you have to be prepared when those people come back and criticize you for it

Please don't preach to me, fact is as I've said before, if this site is too massive or unhealthy, then the fulps should clean it up, not the users, they run it, they own it, they're responsibility. Fact is nobody asked the BC to do what it does, or blam hunters to do what they do. Seems to me like some of the Blam Hunters and BC are just people who get off on deleting movies and saying "I have x amount of blams! I'm cool!" Fact is, nobody asks you guys to do this, nobody asked you to be a content police on NG, so if you get criticized for it, well just remember you took this up yourselves no one pushed you into it, and as such you need to be prepared to be criticized is all.

I agree that groups for the most part are pointless (which is a dub thing to say since I happen to be in a handful of them myself); but they also give people something to do. People, usually, like being accepted, and joining a group which they share a common interest with lets them feel more accepted. The Clock Crew works together to try to make quality flash, even though a great number of them are assholes with no talent. The Blam Club is dedicated to removing crap movies from the portal. Spam Club is just a reason for punks to Spam, and call it organized, etc. Its all just for fun, not to hurt anyone. Of course, people do get pissed off about this, and I can see why, but still, its harmless. Don't get your panties all in a wad over nothing. Besides, half these groups are just a joke, and will probably be disbanded within a few weeks.

It's not really like I'm gonna fight this to the bitter end or anything, I just had an opinion on it and put it out there...I'm not looking to start anything, I just got sick of people who make up things like "anti-clocks" or "anti-Blam Club" it's stupid, if you wanna get some attention why not go flame them or something in one of their threads, that'll probably get more notice then starting a group against them that will die off anyway...like I said not really looking to start a fight, just making a statement

Look I think the answer here is what Damien proposes, we can't get rid of the BC, and frankly they could be useful, but only if it's a small group (as EZ3 suggests) and they're the right kind of people (as Damien has brought up) I think the leadership of the BC has not done it's job in enforcing the rules, if they had, we wouldn't be having this topic, fact is we all wanna make NG better, that's why I think a BC which has strayed from it's purpose is EVERYBODY'S problem.

The score of a movie reflects its quality. But regardless, it is BC policy to watch all the movies they vote on. All the things you are trying to play up as bad policy are just ways to catch a glimpse of a mvoies quality before viewing...All of it: The scores, the author, the popularity, the size.

Of course, everything i just said doesnt mean anything when you look at the concept of Perception. Thats why both of our groups believe we are "right", because we percieve our actions to be correct and just. And Perception also effects the word "Crap". And i would like to repeat that the "Bad" members of BC do not make up the whole group of us. I have said before that i believe these "Bad" BC members should be removed, but no one wants to listen to me.

I understand that not everyone in BC is bad, I've said many times I think your one of the groups good reps and seem to genuinely care about NG and it's health and growth...so with you saying the BC won't listen to your ideas on reforms...why not just quit? You're a level 9, you don't need them to point you to bad movies, you can find them yourself. I don't understand why you stick with a system that is saying "look how many members we have" vs. "we may be small, but we have fine quality people in our group". So maybe it's not about who's right and wrong...maybe now the issue becomes, how do we all try and "fix" some of the problems with the BC.
