Hey bros long time no see. I have come to these estiemed pages for some advise in the area of the art.
I have a thesis in visual art for my final year in high school that I need to figure out. It has to be a multiple piece exhibit that we put on for the rest of our class. I may use any media but I'm particularily fond of inks and pencils (not necessarily acrylics or oils). My teacher is asking for a three piece minimum on anysize but bigger is often better.
What I create will most likely become portfolio pieces that could decide my future art education so I want it to count. The problem is - I HAVE NO IDEAS or rather I have many ideas, but so much that I cannot figure out what to do.
The exhibit must have a theme that carries through
I am good/enjoy drawing crazy architecture, faces, hands, robots, fauna and I really do not like hand drawing patterns over and over. I would like to encorporate a street art feel, but am not sure how to do it without defacing shit. I would also love to have a large painting put on a wall with an image projected onto the wall and painting with a projecter or OHP.
My time restraint is from now untill the end of the semiester (so untill mid-january) but hopefully not so im cramping myself.
I need your help : I want to be an illustrator so it might be a good idea to see if I can grab some ideas and turn them into reality. Also know that ultimately I'm not asking what your vision is, I'm asking for inspiration from what you think I can do with the elements I have.
Holy shit, this is a long post from a long hiatus.
