I haven't listened to much ambient/experimental stuff lately, but one of my favorite artists have to be this guy - http://www.soundclick.com/theoryofkrin - maybe you can get some stuff from him.

Those are all perfect for the show, but that soundclick link isn't working for me...

At any rate, I think I have enough material to put together a disk or two for convenience's sake, so I'll be getting back to everyone I said I'd use to find out details and such. Thanks for all the submissions!

what ever happened to the standard of reviewing the previous few songs in order to post one in the advertisements thread? ...'cause that just doesn't seem to be happening anymore, which makes posting something there, in a sense, almost pointless. I think that system beats a review-for-review system, because it's more indirect than that. But then, there's still a problem if you don't really have something to say about a given song... I dunno. There's my two cents anyway.

daaaaaamn; there are a few in there I'd definitely like to use... do you have any actual releases you could send me?
go to www.myspace.com/williamhowarth
go to the blog and download the albums.
Any problems pm me.
I have everything kept in my 'Post Office Copyright Envelope' so you can't steal it! >.< . But you can play it any time. I don't even care if you somehow make money out of it, as long as you don't say it's you hahaha.

But yeah thanks alot man I appreciate it.

Hey, I'm in this to promote good artists, not to steal anything. :P

I'll probably send pms when I finally get enough music to fill a cd, but I may as well ask now: for everyone I've said I'd use, what name would you like me to use? e.g. your actual name, your user name, or other

It's a bit tough for me sorting out what you are looking for specifically, but you're more than welcome to use a few of my tracks (i work with drill&bass, experimental, breakcore, electronica) if you'd like.

Try checking out Redhead, Honeyfingers and Buffalo:
T7 @ Myspace.com

That's some good stuff... Honeyfingers has a real Steve Reich feel to it; I think I'll use that one. The other tracks are great as well

I host a weekly college radio show called Heroin & Headphones; a long-running show with a loyal fanbase, which specializes in weird & experimental music. I'm looking to promote new artists who fit into this category; this thread is for your submissions to be considered for radio play on the show. If you're wondering what I'm looking for more specifically, look up White Rainbows, Merzbow, WZT Hearts, ZS, Brizbomb, Final, or any composers in the minimalist or musique concrete traditions, but generally speaking, I'm looking for anything weird/unique, as long as it's in good taste.

*raises hand*
can I be an underdog?

I've been submitting on this site for a year or three now, mostly electronica using mostly the Buzz tracker, which I've publicly endorsed on many occasions, since I think it's a great tool, and it's legally free. My music is generally a bit on the weird side; that's how I likes it. I don't submit as often as I used to, but I'll put up a new track every now and again. I don't think there are more than 4 reviews for my past 4 tracks, which is saying something, since they range back to november...

Whaddya say, do I get the job?

Killer 7 for the gamecube.
I'd suggest anyone with a GC or a Wii should go out and buy it to prepare for No More Heroes.
It's a head trip and a half, and you can usually get it pretty damn cheap.
I think I picked up mine for $5.
