iv tried making a button there but i keep getting an error message

I made a flash, and submitted it, but for some reason it doesnt start up after the preloader. Can someone look at my flash timeline and stuff and please help me and tell me what is wrong? I would really appreciate it!

Ok i have my preloader set up and ready now if i want to make a menu, that u have play movie, scene selection, and credits, do i make my whole movie, then create buttons on a keyframe before it that sort of "link" it to a certain spot on the timeline?
ex. on my timeline, i would have: my preloader in 1 layer, my content in another layer and in the content layer : the menu with the buttons then i have the whole movie incl. credits. i would put stop() after the menu and after the movie and after the credits. Afterwards i would link the buttons to that certain spot on the timeline...

i accidentally put stop() in the second frame of my preloader layer. I also added the script for the button for it to start by clicking it. THX again

how do i make my flash start after the preloader. The preloader loads it then the 1st frame from my flash appears and u have to right click and press play for it to start. Do u know whats wrong

Im a noobie at this. I tried to make the game like you said. But the curser that i made did not work, the mouse did not even show up on the screen.
Probably some stupid mistake a newbie does...
Your game was pretty good, it was pretty easy and its really easy to cheat. But it was a job well done.

Does anybody know a good tutorial that can help me create a flah movie. I have tried searching for one but i have gotten no good links yet. right now i am trying to make an intro to my movies that will start right after my preloader then go to the menu screen.
If you could give me a link to a good tutorial i would greatly appreciate it.

I just made a simple ball movie with a preloader. The preloader works then the ball comes up but it does not play. i have to right click then press play for it to work. After i do that it plays then the movie loops back to the preloader and the ball again and the ball is not moving.
1- How do i make the movie start right away?
2-I have the movie with 5 layers : Actions, text, loader outline, loader bar and content. i made the "movie in the content layer. Is that right?
3-how can i add a button that says "play" to my preloader instead of going right away to the movie.

If you can help me on any of these questions i would deeply appreciate it. I am a noobie at flash and i just started so please dont reply unless it is constructive.

if i submit something to the portal, and it gets saved. But afterwards i update it, fix the bugs\, etc. Can I remove my previous flash then resubmit the new one to NG?
