Q2.The reaction I2(g) <--> 2I(g) was studied by sealing solid iodine, I2, in a glass bulb and measuring the total equilibrium pressure in the bulb at various temperatures (the I2 completely sublimes). The following data was obtained:

%uF044 = delta

Volume of bulb= 249.8 ml; original mass of I2= 497 mg;
At T = 800 oC the total pressure was 0.738 atm
At T = 1000 oC the total pressure was 0.984 atm

a) (3 points) Show that the equilibrium pressure of I2(g) is 2Po - Pt and that of I(g) is 2(Pt - Po¬), where Po is the original pressure of I2(g) (at the particular temperature in question, when no decomposition occurs) and Pt is the total pressure in the bulb at equilibrium. Assume ideal gas behaviour throughout.

b) (2 points) Calculate Kp for each temperature.

c) (3 points) Calculate %uF044Ho in kJ mole-1 for the reaction in the temperature range 800 oC to 1000 oC (assume %uF044Ho is independent of temperature).

d) (4 points) Calculate the free energy and entropy change for the reaction at 800 oC.

If you could help me with this id love you forever.. i'v been trying to do it since tuesday

Which sound are you talking about? The lead, the bass, the pad, or the kick?

im talking about the lead. (not the pad, bass, or drumkit)

thats not true lol

some light will be shown. its only if there are only 2 filters, 1 vertical and 1 horizontal that no light will be shown. simplify to componants and ull see

anyone know the answers?

An experiment using a diffraction grating with a monochromatic light source is performed to create an interference pattern on a screen. Consider the following changes:
I. Increase the line density of the grating.
II. Decrease the frequency of the source.
III. Increase the distance to the screen.
Which of these changes would cause the pattern to spread out?
a.
I only
b.
III only
c.
I and III only
d.
I, II, and III
e.
None of these changes would cause the pattern to spread out.

and this one lol

Light is passed through three consecutive polarizing filters. The first is orientated vertically, the second is orientated at 45o to the vertical, and the third is orientated horizontally. What is seen when light passes through all three filters consecutively?
a.
only vertically polarized light
b.
light that is both vertically and horizontally polarized
c.
no light
d.
light that is not polarized
e.
only horizontally polarized light

If you do have a dual operating systems, then you should be familiar with resizing partitions by right-clicking on "My Computer," going to "Manage," and then going to "Disk Management."

the other 242GB is my regular hard drive., the 8gb is the partition thing that backs everything up so you can do system restore and stuff

so how can i make the partition drive bigger?

Could someone help me with this question please?

The cost of producing x bags of pretzels is modeled by C(x) = 0.5x^2 +x +2 where x is the number of bags in hundreds.

a) State the function that represents average cost...

WTF how do i get that? could someone help?

and if you feel like doing this one...

Find the ratio of the surface area of a cylinder to the volume of the cylinder if the height h, is always 10cm. simplify your equation and name it f(x). Let the r be the radius.

yaaaa.... if anyone could help with either of those problems id really appreciate it.

Case closed.
Here. Let me show my work.

First, the givens
a^2 + b^2 = 225
a + b + 15 = 36

This is inferred from a + b + 15 = 36
a + b = 21
b = 21 - a

Then, you get to work on the Problem
a^2 + b^2 = 225

Replace b with what you inferred(21 - a), and you get
a^2 + (21-a)^2 = 225

Then you work out that (21 - a)^2
a^2 + a^2 - 42a + 441 = 225
2a^2 - 42a + 216 = 0
a^2 - 21a + 108 = 0
(a - 9) x (a - 12) = 0

a = 9 or 12

No matter what 'a' equals, b will equal the other, like so:

a + b + 15 = 36
9 + b + 15 = 36
24 + b = 36
b = 12

a + b + 15 = 36
12 + b + 15 = 36
27 + b = 36
b = 9

The answers are 9 and 12.

yaa thats what i did and got except instead of factoring i used the quadratic equation once i got it into ax^2 + bx + c form

thanks a bunch

That's the classic 3:4:5 ratio. It's one of the first pythagorean ratios you learn.

Just for those of you who are looking for acapellas for your music and remixes. Heres a great site i stumbled upon.

im not advertising for it, but since NG doesnt have acapellas for the Audio section, i just thought it would be a good idea to post this here.

Also if you know any other acapella sites, could you post them?

Cheers

Topic: creating a system recovery backup

Posted: 03/15/08 07:33 PM

Forum: Where is / How to?

Ok. so i have this computer and it was being gay so best buy took it and they installed XP on it. Now its just windows xp (SP2, media player edition 05). And i want to create a backup of my pc incase it breaks.

Problem is: that when i go to back it up using the backup utility that comes on xp, and i select my burner drive, it gives me the message:

[The backup file name could not be used.
"I:\Backup.bkf"
Please ensure it is a valid path, or that you have sufficient access.]

I:\ is my burner drive.
The thing is, that it allows me to back it up on removable disks (floppy, flash drives, etc.) but those dont have nealy enough space.

So my question is : "how can i make a backup for system recovery using DVD's? Is there a program that i can download?"

calling my computer manufacturer wont work because they are gay and my warranty expired 1 week ago. best buy is also gay and keeps trying to charge me for stuff even though i have a plan with them.

I tried using the Nero "Create new drive backup" option however, it gives me the message:
["The selected partition is formatted with a system file not supported for reorganizing. This partition cannot be backed using data compression"]
Ok, thats nfine and dandy except that it says without the compression it will require 30 8.5GB DVD's...

Any help at all would be really appreciated thanks
