I Guess I Hit You Posted June 28th, 2012 in Writing

I didn't mean to hurt you
You ran so I did too
We ran so far away
Until the month of May
When you said I hurt you
By I don't recall
Hitting you at all
You said it was last night
But that cannot be right
I was looking for your purse
You said you lost in the universe
So how did I hit you
If I wasn't with you
It doesn't make sense
How I hit you by the fence
I wasn't nearby
But you said I was near
And you thought you hadn't needed fear
But you said I hit you right out of the blue
But why would I do that
We were running like rats
Away from are cage
Even though we were both a young age
You said it would be alright
There's no need for fright
Then I guess I hit you
Right out of the blue
So you left me behind
Nothing but a picture, I was blind
I don't get it
How I did it
You're already gone
And I've been running for so long
So I guess I'll go home
Since you went to hide in Rome
It's to far
I can't make it in my car
Since I guess I hit you
Right out the blue
So I say bye
For the very last time
I hope you had fun
When we used to run far from are homes
Before you went to Rome

The rhythm and structure are solid, it looks like poetry and reads like poetry but doesn't taste like poetry. Maybe that's the point and you're being all "anti-art" by being purposefully crass. If that's the case it's not rough enough, if that's not the case it's not soft enough.

If you want me to like it more:
- exaggerate emotions more
- more sensory connections to the reader
- less direct "prosy" narration of themes

To direct eh? Your probably right I should make me people think when they read my stuff. Thanks and I'm trying to be a little anti-art but not too much.

Vanity Posted June 25th, 2012 in Writing

Losing my sanity
Because of you
And your vanity
Drives me mad
The way you act
It's bad
Why can't you stop yourself
For a second
Stop worrying about your health
Please calm down
Your making no sense
You'll drown
In a world of distress
You'll go under
From the stress
Of losing your beauty
And wealth
Your acting snooty
So stop while your ahead
Or you'll end up like they all do
You'll end up dead
In the ocean
sinking down
Don't cause a commotion
You will die
If you don't stop
So don't cry
I'll help you
Through this rough time
We'll breakthrough
Through the wall
Between vanity and you
And then we'll end this all

I have both and I pre-ordered the second so got some stuff. I must say this game is okay. I like the little things they fixed in the second. Also dogpup4 just summarized the first.

Response to: Who inspires you? Posted June 25th, 2012 in Audio

My inspirations, that's hard so I'm going to go in list form like LaForge did.

Psychostick - They taught me I can write a funny song and make it popular so I'll be sitting with friends and just start singing random lyrics along to any song. Like instead of Rock The Casbah I could make Fuck The Hot Chick and have lyrics like "Her boyfriend don't like it, Fucking the hot, fucking the hot chick. You see what I mean?

System Of A Down - Just the way Serj Tankian sings is amazing how he can be singing so high up and then just boom lower his voice down and how they mix Serj and Daron together in songs like B.Y.O.B and Hypnotize is beautiful.

Digital Underground - They had funny songs like Humpty Dance and DoWatchaYouLike that were catchy, a bit inappropriate, and were amazing. I mean the Humpty Dance had great lyrics and that bass in the background. I mean doo er doo er. It was truly amazing.

Sum 41/Blink-182 - I have Blink-182 and Sum 41 on the same because they are both the founders of Pop/Punk I'd say I meant songs like Dammit and Into Deep were catchy with great guitar playing but most importantly it defined the late 90's and early 2000's by catering to Punk and Pop enthusiasts.

NOFX - Their just great how the lyrics reach out and make you want to do something about the world with songs like The Separation Of Church and State and Franc Un-American. But they also showed you can have fun with Cokie the Clown. I'd say one of the best punk bands out there.

Thanks.

If you have a nice handheld camera that records video follow the following steps,

1. Get an idea

2. Storyboard it

3. Film it if you think you can or not

4. Edit it to make it look nice and have your music synced nicely.

5.Upload to YouTube or wherever.

Fluoride is in rat poison, anti depressants, and helps your teeth so if it's a small quantity I'm fine with it.
