I'm afraid there's only 3 Dutch guys who visit the forum regularly: ParagonX9, Distortzion, and me. I've been banned for a day once for posting in all Dutch, too. You're not going to find your job here... succes verder :)

You forget Zodiak7, MackerelSalad and me.

Anyway, i live somewhere between Antwerpen and Breda so i 'm very close to you but if
i search for people to make a band with, i probably do it with some people i already
know in real life.
Oh yeah, and i think that you can better post in English because most people hear don't
understand a word of Dutch, well maybe two words but..
well, i think you can better ask at some Dutch forum with a lot of musicians, bedankt. :)

By the way, it is "muzikanten" and not "muziekanten". ;)

Response to: omg hai gyuz how 2 mek musik? ^_ ^ Posted August 7th, 2007 in Audio

Actually i disagree with you, i use the demo version myself, simply because i don't want
to crack Fruity Loops and because i 'm not sure how to buy it exactly etc., if they just
sold it in stores i would buy it but i work with the demo version anyway.
And i have to say, because of the functionality of the demo version, the fact that the
only thing you can't do is saving projects, makes the demo version pretty good, no actually
excellent for a demo version.

But let's get back to the topic, when i started with music, i spent 2 hours on making
a song with like 5 notes maybe?
I think i spent a lot of time in instrument choice by then.. i have no clue what else.
But these days, i make an average sounding song with some variety, and with a lot more
notes in the same 2 hours.
It's not about your software, it's not only about yourself, it's about your experience,
about your motivation, about the people who help you, the kind of people who help you
and the most important, constructive critique.

If i didn't get constructive critique at my songs, i would still make bad songs, but
i can see the votes at my songs in 2007 are much higher then the ones in 2006, simply
because the great tip to don't use pre-sets anymore hehe.

I think that people who say you can only make bad music with Fruity Loops are wrong,
since on-yx and i find that you can make as good music with Fruity Loops as you can make
with Reason, simply because you can import audio clips, add effects and you can add
automation clips, and i think those three are really important things to be able to do
in music software.

But another important thing is to listen a lot to music of other people, to get
inspiration, the idea's for the music genre you want to make, and to improve your musical
hearing.
It isn't that hard, it's just a matter of discovering music, searching for how you want
to make YOUR music, and listening to others their music, accepting their music taste,
and trying to give them critique too.
You will automatically get better at giving critique, the same happened with me while i
don't know anything about chords and that kind of things, but just saying what you think
of the mood, if the bass plays right etc. is constructive already.

To come to a short answer: Having fun in music is the first step (Like listening to DJ Tiesto).

Well, i think i said what i wanted to see, and i feel like i want to add a lot more but
i will keep it like this.

To know if she was old. Old meat isn't good, you know.

Yeah, old animal meat, i don't know about human meat.
Probably the same, since we are actually animals, but really weird ones.

Anyone here knows if human meat is bad for SBB's stomach?

Okaay....
I opened up mIRC and selected Quakenet as server.
But then there doesn't even exist a Newgrounds_Audio channel..

To give a serious answer, i think the strange noises which you see cat's making sometimes,
and the weird way they act makes them a prey for jokes.

But a Drum 'n' Bass song, and i think it worked out pretty well.

Please, listen here: Astrono - Night Monster

He can save, but as .mp3, not as project file,
then i have a trick to still being able to work further on songs in the Demo version.
Just save an intro as .mp3, then the next day start a new project, and import the intro as .mp3 file and you can work further on it, only thing is that you have to import all the instruments again then..

But hey, it's free and you haven't a lot of limited functions except for saving as a project file.

Heh, i don't get why some of you have to go to summerschool.
Don't you have high marks like me?

Heh, i have holidays for 3 weeks now, something like 3, 4 or 5 weeks left :/

Response to: Reason 4! Posted July 19th, 2007 in Audio

Hmm, it seems like you already need an older version of Reason in order to access the page.
I just registered and when i was supposed to be at the beta version page i got this message: Authorization failed

Sorry, but this part of our web site is closed to certain groups of registered users.

If you have an account and can't get in, maybe some form of product registration is needed to get access (see below).

Please check out the FAQ's on the web site, and if you still think that you really are entitled to access, please contact the webmaster.

Well, then i will keep hanging at the Fruity Loops demo version, it's always better then a cracked version.

Response to: The Audio Forum Lounge Posted July 17th, 2007 in Audio

Wow, when i saw 2 days ago that they started with the re-design i hadn't expected them to be done with it now already!

Although i don't really like that typing a message here is that slow.
Well, i like the favorite audio artist button but it is still a shame that the site i started with a few other guys has more features while we have being existing for just 1 year.
Anyway, i hope they aren't done yet, because slow typing can get a bit irritating..
But i really like the new emoticons, and aura's etc.

Let's discover all other features of Newgrounds now.

Really interesting, what about the members of your band? Or do you know too less about them to know how their life effects their music.
