iv seen 3/4 of the movie and its pretty badass, its best not to make assumptions, movies that should be good can turn out crap and movies that look crap can actually be completely awesome, plus in that movie whiplash is just awesome, iv been on a bit of a movie streak lately, in the last week iv seen

errr yeah of course you did, i dont know what that is, but shading it aint, if i was you id start over, your gunna get nowhere with that picture it has no potential, start a new one, use some references for anatomy and proportions, or go look at some comic strips or cartoons if its a cartoony style your looking for, just look for what you want to make and try to emulate that, keep practicing and youll be able to do it yourself and tweak it to suit you

if your good youll get scouted by good people, most artists wont accept invites from artists they arent sure about, the whole top of the tree is safe, its only certain branches, certain rule breakers who get pruned, and those people wont have been scouted long enough to scout anybody else, like orn said glitches can unscout anyone, like before when i-bot got unscouted, the whole art portal got unscouted, its best not to dwell on this, the system works and generally its only glitches or bad scouters that will get you unscouted
