Our BBS system must be immortal. It chronicles billions of hours of wasted time over the last decade on newgrounds, and for someone to just erase that... newgrounds would lose a lot of fan base and support indeed. Which directly translates into revenue. so I'd say the BBS is safe, even if it will get less use.

any job like the kind you'll get age 15-19 is not going to require a resume. Just go online and apply, and say you have no experience. They don't discriminate much for minimum wage.

We have no choice but to abort it because we couldn't possibly support it and it'd ruin my schooling. But thing is we both have no spare money, due to having to help pay bills, and have to abort with an alternative way.

no no no no no.
go to planned parent hood.
explain that you are broke.
they will help her get the abortion.
(the normal, safe way)
you might have to pay the medical bills slowly over time.
still cheaper and more responsible than actually letting it be born.

while you are there, investigate preemptive birth control options.
i recommend depo-provera

the point in life is to survive.

If you want to give your life meaning-
you'll try and change the world for the better
So that future generations might have the oportunity
to make the same choice.

Unfortunately though...
Most people dont look at the big picture.
They just focus on making themselves happy.

Start dating a black girl and bring her to sit at the table. You know if she hears 'em sayin' anything she'll lay down the law on their bigot asses. Whats best is you flip roles. Instead of you being uncomfortable, now they are uncomfortable.

You, at some point in your life, watched that show Hamtaro because you loved hamsters.

nope never seen the show. Didnt even hear about it until i saw some internet parodies of it.

Your first crush was in 3rd grade.

Nope, mine was in like kindergarten. She liked sand, i liked sand, i saw potential.

There was at least one or two songs that you'd put on repeat and listen to for hours while you did your homework.

I never had that limited of a taste in music where i'd listen to one album over and over again, let alone just a few songs. And also, homework, never did that.

You used to take dumps that lasted for hours.

Still do. its all part of having the metabolism of a tyrannosaurus.

At some point you thought if you should turn emo then decided not to.

yeah, never turned emo, but i did like the song Ocean Avenue when it first came out on the radio, but i attribute that to the fact i was going through a messy breakup at the time.

You thought girls were icky.

still do. people need to practice better hygiene.

And you used to listen to Brittney Spears, Backstreet Boys, Nsync, and Aaron Carter.

Nope. although I did think britney spears was kindof hot in "hut me baby one more time" I dont think i ever just listened to her other than that time she was on SNL, that was a great episode.

Does that sum up your 90's childhood or what?

NO.

My childhood can be summed up by Ducktales & ninja turtles, Ghostbusters and Saved by the Bell.
Sega Channel and AOL. Burnt CD's and Tv's stacked on older Tvs that no longer work.

Topic: Anyone here smokes?

Posted: 02/22/09 03:14 AM

Forum: General

Smoking cigarettes is boring and kind of pointless.
They just don't have a lot of kick and are like, extra poisonous, with their filter.
I should know, i smoke cloves. and they've got extra flavor in the filter. They are expensive and lame, but great when you're drinking in public and crave a smoke but need something quick.

Bar far the best thing to smoke is the hookah, what with the magnificent assortment of flavors and the fun volume of smoke. Its slow and light and cool, unlike a cigarette which is fast, harsh and hot!

I cant comment on the pot, since i've never tried it. It never seemed worth it to smoke something that makes getting a job more difficult, and I'm lazy enough as is...

But lately I've been like you, really considering trying marijuana, especially since today I saw Pineapple express for the first time this afternoon.

At work, A lady approaches me and asks for a hand stamp,
so she can re-enter the casino later hassle free--

upon finishing her hand stamp i say to her:
"there ya go hun, you're all inked up, thanks alot"
in a friendly voice with positive inflection,

and she snarls back: "I'm not your hun!" and pouts.
" i tried to explain myself to her,
"i didn't mean anything by it, its just a term of endearment in Lieu of not knowing your name, there's no need to get nasty"

and she stormed off.

about an hour later she came back and had to show me her invisible stamp under our blacklight so I could let her in. And this time she says "Here's your stamp, HUN!" in a really mean bitchy voice. My supervisor was standing next to me when it happened and was just like "what was that all about?"

Some people just get pissed off over the wrong things.

Forum: General

For low-income urban Americans like me
it is more cost-effective just to eat take out and packaged precooked meals.
Although I am a skilled cook (my father was a chef and taught me well)
I can only make time to cook maybe once a week.

Then there's the challenge of getting the ingredients and keeping them fresh.
In order to eat a home made cooked meal someone needs to have excess income and excess time.
Its rare people have both these days.

that's why it was so much better before women's liberation, because wages were higher and one member of the household always had free time

don't get me wrong, i'm a total feminist. but having a woman slave to spend 9 hours a day cooking the way they did in 1909 would be awesome!

Posted: 02/15/09 11:00 PM

Forum: General

Last night at a Valentines day party
I was rollin' loaded and went outside with the smokers
but I had nothing to smoke so I was offered a Camel Cigarette.

This was going to be my first regular cigarette.
Now, Ive been smoking for many years--
My hookahs mainly, but also a pack of Clove Cigarettes every once in a while.

And my impression of this camel cigarette was
" how fucking boring"
It was bland and borderline flavorless.
almost no smoke came from it when I took a drag and inhaled deeply.
It barely seemed to have nicotine because It didnt really give me a buzz at all.

And I couldn't help but think to myself, why do people smoke these?
the only real answer I could give myself was the social aspect of huddling together outside in the cold.

But still It was lame.
smoking is fun, but these cigarettes are lackluster at best.

I love smokin' but I doubt I'll ever bother with another plain cigarette.
But I'll take a pipe anyday.
