SESS does have a valid point when he said that he knows more after doing. Artist votes are normally completely different from viewers because they can see how stuff is made when watching. I personally think that Super Console Wars is boring and easy, albet time consuming, to do. However, I respect his efforts and imagination and just don't vote on it/review them.
As for someone who said that my stuff is "all motion tweening," it's actually a mix of both - more and more as I have improved. For instance, the Arrogancy: AS Preview contains frame by frame AND motion tweening in almost every scene - it's a subtle scene; so the animations themselves are subtle - they aren't "obvious" animations, but contain the same mix as many anime series. That's what it is styled after, animation wise - anime doesn't have the budget to completely animate characters that detailed on a weekly/26 episode basis, so they mix motion tweening with frame by frame.
I suggested the "authors have more voting power" thing a million times, but that's not feasable because that would piss off the kiddies that power this site and are mad because their vote spamming doesn't make them all-powerful.
If your movies are ever on the front page, you'll get a pretty decent vote because casual voters see them and vote on what they feel. Once the voting gets to be strictly to the portal, it gets skewed because people are just voting according to cliques or what they are championing to be in the top 50 (ie. they'll vote movies they love 5s every day, and anything that is beating them zeros). Which is retarded, but really, there's no reason an author should actually care, KNOWING that that is the mentality behind the voting.
