I have been told from a post I started that here is the place to advertise.

My Shizzle Ma Nizzle

It's mainly tech/deep house stuff but I like to mix it up, plus I have many a re-mix too. Including a TOTO Africa re-mix and one from the late great Micheal Jackson

From the few replies you have had...it's clear we need to know which program you want to use to make your music.

You may not have decided this yet... so here are a few you may like to try (and steal..;-))

1:) Fruity Loops a.k.a FL Studio - I started on this after using eJay series programs...its a good place to start and if you get to know it very well, you can produce industry standard tracks on it.

2:) Logic/Logic Pro - This is a Mac (mainly) only music production software but its what I use now so if you want some tips on this i can help... but it can be hard to get to grips with early on.

3:) Albeton Live - This is a very popular music production software and I have heard it is very easy to use once to get used to it plus has great features, but I have no idea how to fucking use it as I'm a Logic man and seems very alien to me...yet I do agree it had potential and want to learn it myself.

4:) Sony Acid - I know that Dubstep producer Rusko still uses this program, which adds to my slight point I have made thus far that the more you know one program the better you can get. I have never used this program though

5:) Garage Band - A simpler version of Logic and free with any Mac. It can give you the basics of music production but I have never heard of anyone making a released professional track with it...although it would not surprise me if someone did.

6:) Reason - This program fucked me off as at the time it did not support VST's but I am of the understanding that the newest version do. - VST are virtual instruments (drum machines, synths... all that shit) that help you add on top of your chosen program's synths and shite

Anyways I hope these help you decided a program if you have not and as the previous replies have stated, getting top quality VST's are the next step.

If you would like some ideas of which VST's to get, I'm sure people here could recommend a ton...I know I could, but I've already posted enough info for one reply x
