I want to finish one of my old projects and I'm not satisfied with it....
I've started this 1 year ago and abandoned it....
Since then I've gathered much more experience with flash development and I have new designing skill....
I want to finish this game and I actually thought about remaking every single piece of graphic to make it look as bloody and realistic as possible (with the risk of the game being laggy)

you just have to make a swimming animation and when the player touches the water, the character goes to the swimming animation frame and make the gravity lower and friction higher...

Thats wrong , when exporting to any image instead of choosing 'minimum size required ' choose ' Full document size' and that sets it to the stage resolution

Just 3 days ago I was thinking at the same thing.
I want to make a website that will bring revenue all the time not just once from a sponsorship.
I work in flash for about 2 years but I only started creating flash games about 3 months ago.
I already made 2 (already got sponsored) and I'm working on my third which is going to be even bigger and better so I have some experience with flash games development.

By the way I'm the designer in the game, I really don't know how to code especially in flash.
I draw decent stuff and I could even show you in a PM if you're interested.
I have a hard time animating stuff but I guess I could do that too if necessary.

Anyway I want to get into this project because I'm a designer (which you will need) and I would also commit to this project since I really like the idea.

I also have a lot of great ideas so I could help with that too.

Rusty I will have to say you're wrong.
My portfolio is also made in flash but it looks pretty decent.
I-Design Flash

I decided to go with a flash site because it was the only way I knew how to make it.
I couldn't code in php at all so I went with flash.

Flash sites also allows you to have more interactivity then any other sites so that's also a good thing.

The only thing I like about your site is the black bar at the top.
That's the only thing that looks professional.
The animation on the buttons is nice too but the colors are really bad (that ugly purple) and the fonts are also bad.
Download some nice fonts from www.dafont.com from the bitmap section.

ANyway the contents are placed pretty good and the navigation is easy.
It looks nice but you have to rework the entire design.
Don't use Radial coloring because it looks bad.
Try to find a photoshop tutorial for website designs, an d try to reproduce it in flash.
That\s what I did and mine came out pretty good.

I'm no action script guru, actually I don't even know how to program :D but I do have a suggesion.
Make your character starts from position X and when you hit the spikes the position resets instead of the whole frame.

If you have more stuff that need to be reset this idea is stupid but I'm just trying to be helpful :D

Nateofwar, the animation is pretty good but you really need to work more on the quality of your drawings.

Well you need to have a sfw file.
After you have that you have to make sure it's size is under 10Mb
After you're sure about that you have to click on Submit Content and follow the steps.

If you have done this and it still doesn't work you will have to give us more details about your problem
