ok I have this little spaceship that follows your mouse...I'd kinda like a tiny drag with it...as in it when you move the mouse, it's engine kicks on and moves a tiny bit slower than your mouse does but still follows. The second part is it has to turn with your mouse movement....as in when you move it down, the spaceship turns down instead of just moving down but facing up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do for slopes, I've tried a few tuts but none allow the character to tilt while going on the slope...I don't know what to do...

I wanted to create a thread here for those who run their own arcades, or portfolio pages with games...

I have one myself @ arcadehog.com...it's funny, it's been growing pretty fast so I had to get a huuuge server last night for it..some might see a blank page, idk...DNS should be done updating.

Anyway! Lets talk about stuff, tips, how you get traffic, what you like to focus on, anything!

I'll start it off...if you own one and update ever so often, how often do you, and do you tend to update more of a genre of games over another :) lol I have that problem

BTW...the hog boy, when preloader is placed on an actual clip or game, he will load from bottom up...initially black, then startes to show color as it loads. Do you like that idea?

Well you're thinking of it as them paying per click, advertisers can also pay per impression, which is just the number of pages that load with their ad on it.

and besides, if their contests have been increasing in money offered, and their sponsorships have been increasing, it is obviously implied that they are making more money then they are spending with the ads they have.

I have the artwork drawn up, all kinds of cool stuff -
character
goodies
powerups
going to do enemies...

but anyway, I'm just curious before I start the game itself what kind of adventure platformer are you looking to play? The character is a farm animal..I won't reveal just yet, but he can jump...and maybe attack...I mean...most platformers in this genre - you jump on the enemy to kill them...sure I might add that, but I want the character to be able to kick backwards...just a little something to enhance gaming..

how do you like em?
*just run and get to the end of the level > next level
*puzzle kinda
*multi floors or just one main ground...<kinda simple with that...limits more hidden objects :P

any ideas would be appreciated!
