Hi! I'm new to the VA gig, but I've been an actress for as long as I can remember. Just uploaded my first demo, which gives a broad idea of what I can do. I'm aiming to do as many projects as I can to beef up my acting resume, so if you want to use my voice for your flash, feel free to ask! If you're looking for a specific character/voice, just drop me a line and I'll let you know if I'm capable of doing that sort of voice. (I'll be honest, don't worry.) Quality of flash or the size of the part doesn't particularly matter, and I'm always willing to work for free, although if you do pay me, your project will get top priority. The only limitation I have is; no porno/hentai/etc-type flash. I don't want to get into that sort of thing. But other than that, I probably won't have a problem with it.

Also, if you want to leave me a rating/review/comment on my demo or critique my demo in general, it is very much appreciated.

Okay, I don't even understand why we still need to debate over this. Rape is rape is rape is rape. If you have sex with someone, regardless of gender, and they, AT THE TIME, did not want to have sex with you, then it's rape.

Yes, there is a double standard, but women are raped far more often than men, because of the patriarchal culture in which we live. A man sleeps with a lot of women, he's called a stud, and gets pats on the back from his compatriots. A woman sleeps with a lot of men, and she's called a slut, and gets shamed by men and women alike. Men are often pressured to sleep around, while women are pressured to keep their virginity. And female virginity is a huge deal, while it's hardly ever important to men. So, some men force themselves onto women to feel adequate, much in a similar way that women starve themselves and wear lots of makeup to feel adequate. TLDR; society is screwed up- but men have it easier, and if you think men have it harder, then quit lying to yourself and try walking in high heels even once.

Rachel Maddow is one of my favorites. Yes, she's very liberal, but so am I, and any feminist voice in the media is a good thing. I'm also a big fan of the whole Daily Show team (particularly Jon Stewart, Sam Bee and Jessica Williams) and Colbert. I even went to see a taping of The Daily Show once. It's a good time. (Also when Colbert went to DC for his SuperPAC hearing, I got in to see it. I handed him PAC money while he was in-character. Good times.)

I also watch Bill Maher occasionally, but he's kind of hit-and-miss with me. Some weeks he's spot-on, and other weeks he's a snobby, sexist douche, but I digress.

I hate Fox News with a burning passion (but doesn't everyone? At least, everyone sane?) and Ann Coulter is among the worst excuses for a human being I have ever seen. My father works for the government, and she literally once called federal employees "a drain on society". (on Bill Maher's show, oddly enough.) Hey, that's my Dad you're talking about! I'm 99% sure that she says things just to create controversy. And the scary thing is, it works. I'd put her in the same category as the Westboro Baptist Church: maybe they'll go away if we stop listening to the bull they spew.

Islamic Terrorists are basically the equivalent of the KKK, American Nazi party, Westboro Bapist, and every other radical group we have in the US. All three of those groups fight in the name of Jesus. (OUR LAWD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST HALLELUJAH AYYYMEN.) They're the crazies that give the entire religion a bad name. Not every Muslim wants to kill people, just like not every Christian or Jew or Atheist (etc) wants to kill people. Ending the Muslim religion is stupid, impossible, and useless, not to mention completely evil.

99.9% sure you put this in the wrong board...

Oh my god, not UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE! Keep the guv'ment out of my everything! Except of course when you're protecting my right to spew racist/sexist/homophobic/blindly religious bullcrap and my right to own unnecessary assault rifles. (let me gun down this buck with a million bullets real quick...)

Give me a break. I am SO sick of this fear of a helpful way to get medical treatment, and I am so sick of house republicans trying to repeal the president's healthcare plan 40 times instead of doing... literally anything helpful. At all. Yes, of course this plan is a way towards a single-payer system. The rest of the world has it, and of course there are some problems with their systems... but you know what? It still works better than the American system! "Of course, get all the healthcare you need... provided you can pay obscene amounts of money for it."

And any system of anything ever is going to have its issues, so using an example of a system that doesn't work 110% of the time is pointless. No system is perfect. Nothing is perfect. It's called human error. People are going to make mistakes. Especially stupid people. Like, for example, the ones who are terrified of universal health care just because Rush Limbaugh or Glenn Beck or some other nutjob told them to be.

Anyone know how to get the secret medals for "The Company of Myself"? I've gotten one for finishing the game (and bawling my eyes out as a result) but I don't know how to get the other two.

I'm an actress, and I wanted to do some voice acting for the flash artists on Newgrounds to help my resume a little bit. Do any of the voice actors (or not-voice-actors, that's cool too) have any advice about how to get started, and how people can ask me to do voices for them? I know this is pretty vague, but I hope you guys can help.

I remember seeing a flash that made the front page a while ago about this site that allows you to fill in a limited amount of information and call it your personal flash, even though you had nothing to do with drawing the damn thing. Anyway, the flash that made the front page was using this same website's flash against it to make fun of it. It was really, really clever. I can't remember what the title of the flash (the one that made the front page) was called, nor can I remember the site it was making fun of. Anyone have a better memory?

But I want to start making Flash videos. Are there any freeware versions and/or freeware equivalents, or are Flash Portal submissions for works from Adobe Flash exclusively?

If this is covered in an FAQ and/or sticky, I apologize. I was unable to find it.
