Ok, so my MacBook is being a dickface, so I am going to build my own computer. Thing is, I havn't looked at the new stuff since 2 years ago. Can someone fill me in on the best (for $2,000)

For my birthday last year, I got a macbook. I really liked it. It was awesome in every way. Yesterday, I downloaded Xubuntu to see it's customization features. I partioned the disk with Boot Camp. I installed Xubuntu on the partioned part of it. You know what happened? It deleted all of my files, my OS X and all of my STORE BOUGHT PROGRAMS. I did everything I was supposed to do, and it fucked up my computer. And linux doesn't even fucking work. Hows that for a laugh eh? I hate fucking computers right now.

Like what? All I know is, it says it's got an excellent connection to the internet, but I can't do ANYTHING internet related. NOTHING.

Try restarting, sometimes that magically repairs problems.
You can also try right-clicking the network icon on the bottom-
right part of the screen, then choose "Diagnose and repair".

I gave you all the info I could. Yes, I tried that, it says it's fine. But if I do it again, it says it has an error that cannot be fixed automatically.
