I don't like MRACs anyway. It's much more fun to make an original melody than to copy someone else's.

Cool, except the "o" should be a zero.
I think LJCoffee's picture would actually work for me, it sort of looks like an ant and my name is Anth0n.
Wait, did I seriously win? For real? If so, how do I get my prize?
Here we go: A Song of Mine
I heard my music in a Super Smash Bros. Melee video once, in addition to a couple other Newgrounds music artists who were in there, but I can't find it now.
What many good artists do is put sounds in the background that are very soft. People don't pay attention to those sounds, they pay attention to the main melody, but the background noises reinforce the main melody and make it sound better, almost like the bass does.
So I guess rather than using any skill to make our own Pico songs, we're just browsing and making links instead. That's not even an audio contest, and I understand there's only a few days left in February but wouldn't it be best to just wait until March and make a better contest?
The fact that I can actually win something just by creating links (with NO prize given to the actual person who made the song) is completely retarded. But I guess I have nothing to lose, so I'm linking this.
And this.
And this.
I still need to post my stuff, hopefully it's not too late.
I like to use FL because it's easy to learn, but it's not for noobs. Anyone can make a song in it, but making good songs requires practice, yet FL makes it easy to improve all of my music skills. Also, it is compatible with VST plugins, allowing so many possibilities since there are so many VSTs out on the internets, many being free.
How do I use FL Studio? I don't have any hardware such as a keyboard that I hook up to the computer, but I don't need one thanks to the piano roll. I usually begin by making a bass, then the percussion, and then a melody to go with it. Then I expand upon everything and continue to add new elements until the song is finished. Sometimes I use FL in conjunction with Audacity to add some final effects to the song once it is nearly complete.
Did I cover everything?

I agree, that way zero voters have somewhere to ejaculate.

I've used the beta, and I know there are probably plenty of improvements in the full version but the structure and everything are generally the same. Rather than integrating the features seamlessly, Vista has every feature run on a separate process, and every process takes up RAM.
On a totally unrelated note, WilliamVance has an interesting name because a kid who graduated from my high school a few years ago was named Vance Williams.

Vista is like a giant turd in a toilet. It clogs everything up.

Is it even a fruit? It looks like an orange pepper to me.
My name is Anth0n, and I use FL Studio 6. Sign me up.
Seems like there's not much interest in this topic, how about combining two contests into one? Maybe have the current one stay but add an additional option so people will actually be inclined to do it. And I would call it a MAC, not a PAC because PAC only specifies the category while MAC specifies the contest.
Personally I think a contest like this is good to have, I don't like MRACs because remixing is so boring. I've already got a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do, but it'll take some time to put together so I'm glad we have such a big time frame.
The stuff I like to make most is techno that isn't fast but isn't too slow and has a catchy tune and consistent rhythm. Stuff that you would bob your head to, although sometimes I do make faster songs.
Keep in mind that real death screamers use real mics PLUS they use special effects to make their screaming sound more deathly.

Actually, there is a way to do it with IP masking. I don't remember the exact way because I've never done it, but artists have done it in the past and some had their accounts banned as a result. I won't mention any names, though.
My brother uses Dance eJay 7 and although it is not a good program overall it has a very good drum machine.
You can probably find it on the internet.
Well I searched my name on Google and I didn't find too much stuff but the stuff I did find was surprising. Not only did I find a bit of my music but also some music of other NG artists. Here's a good example:
Which includes music not just from me but also Dj-SilenT-Hunter and dj-Nate (formerly known as Natedog102).
Also I found a mention to me under "Musical Influences" on this random person's myspace page right here (Dimrain47 is mentioned as well)
So I thought it would be interesting if a bunch of us tried looking up our names and seeing what we find, although I'm sure many of you guys have done it already it would be cool if we posted our findings into one thread to see how our music has been an influence outside the NG community.
What's this you say? You have a voice?
Wow, I have a voice too!
Personally I think that song is a bit too overplayed to be good for that stuff anymore. Usually any time I hear it in a funny chase scene it takes away from the funnyness since it's so cliche.
Just my opinion.
For some reason, when I checked my PM inbox on either of my two accounts before, I was logged in as the user "Toocool100." But now I just tried again and it worked fine. What happened?
cornandbeans has a really leet Harry Potter remix: Here's the link.
