print screen doesn't make a screenshot, you have to paste it into paint or something similar and then save it from there.
I bought portal a while back and I love it very dearly. However, one significant and dramatic part of this great game is missing for me, and I want to know why.

At the "end" of level 19, when the platform is descending into the fire pit, it is an intense moment.
Immense flames twist in the air, heat haze blurs your vision, GLaDOS uninterestedly assures you there will be possibility of the portal gun failing, and you panic, not realizing it's really very simple.
I first played through the game at a friend's house, and made up my mind to own it myself. When I bought it off Steam, I played through again instantly-- but when I reached this point, I was struck by a... startling lack of fire. The pit is there. I die if I jump into the pit. The heat haze ripples, everything else happens as it should. But there is no fire.
Why is this? It's not my system. I definitely fulfill the minimum specs given for Portal on Steam. I made sure of that before buying it. I hadn't edited the game in any way the first time I played and noticed this, and since then I've modded the game once to make the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device black, which looks much cooler. Is this a problem with my computer? Is there a problem with my "copy" of Portal? Can I fix it?
This isn't a big issue, but It bothers me to no end when a product I paid money for fails to do what I know it should do. I WANT MY FIRE.
Help if you can, or link me somewhere more knowledgeable.

Hahaa I love Fox News and their overreaction to anything and everything involving videogames. I like how they fail to mention that it's rated Mature, for ages 17+. Also I think that smug asshole psychologist woman was the same one they hauled in to preach about Mass Effect. I hated her then too-- talking about "causal relationships" and statistics and things.
Oh lmao, what? They just mentioned that "You don't get points, it's just to torture." And somehow this makes it even more horrible. If there was an objective and you did get points, they'd say the game "rewards" violence and makes it a positive thing. No matter what it is, they'll spin it in their favor.
And the other thing--What purpose did this segment serve? Is it an attack on Newgrounds? No, they don't even mention the site by name. Is it an attack on the creator? No, they only mention him in passing. It's just another attempt to stir up shit for no reason and make people nice and angry.
Grr.
Do you get an error when you upload it? If so, it ought to tell you why you can't upload, and then you can fix it.
But seriously, where are you getting these numbers from? 40-70% is very vague, anyway. Even if you weren't pulling these stats out of your ass, they wouldn't mean much.

what do you mean, "gut feeling?" He basically told us himself that he didn't make it. He "edited" someone else's picture.
That game sucks. Why would you spell "position" with a z?
I want to see someone make some lovely art with the paint tool in that game.

Hard as fuck, and not even the fun kind of hard....just the annoying kind of hard.
With the x-ray visor they took like 5 minutes to kill.
oh also, at the end of Metroid Prime 3, in the final stage area, for some horrible reason metroids spawn every minute or so. There'll be three of them flying around my head or clamping onto my face or tazing me while I try and kill whatever else is gettin up in my grill. That became incredibly irritating.
any enemy that makes noise. They have roughly three sound effects to cycle through, and when I'm fighting 10 of them, their shrieks and wails and snaps stop enhancing my game experience and start bothering me.
I'm pretty sure the size limit is 800x600.
using the pixel tool extension allows you to change the "pixel" size as well. I can make every pixel 12x12. It will look like all the other parts :D Also, we're all doing silent parts, then fitting them to a song, right?
oh hay guyz. Can i join? I'll just go with part 1 I suppose.
ALSO: Pixel tools Extension.
This it what I plan to use for my part. It'd be much much easier than doing everything with a preexisting grid.

how exactly is it legal to continue reusing the trial when Adobe clearly states after 30 days you need to purchase the program? We need to add a rule to the Flash forum regulations that says in large red text "FLASH IS NOT FREE, YOU CHEAPASS KID. GET A JOB."

These are incredible. Like really. I'd never really seen any of your art before, only animations, which tended to be more simplified. But these are really, really nice. I love your way of coloring-- everything's slightly off, cause you put in some random shade here and there. I LUV U TOMFRIMAYER

They're not "in" WMP, they're in some folder. Find the mp3 and then import it.

So? Some people really can't use a mouse. It just doesn't feel right for them. I used the mouse for lose to a year before I bought my Graphire 4x5, and it's so much easier to use I can't believe it.
I really like how tall and thin mickey is. Mario's right hand is quite odd
When someone posts a religion-related thread anywhere else, they're almost invariably sent to the politics forum.
The little bit you have there is actually looking pretty nice. I'm sure it'll look even nicer with a background. I'll admit that when I clicked on this topic I was expecting something of pretty poor quality, but you seem to know what you're doing. Good luck with your movie :)
