bone/skin rig + ik solvers, point helpers etc.
still have envelopes to work out.
not done with the rigging, and I want to add some soft body mods.
getting there.
you may want to rotate it a bit more to the left,
this will not only give the face a straight on, more personal look.
but will also show the hip/bust of the figure better.

ok you can take em off.
But you must be gentle.
here is how i did mine.
step 1:
gently pull the arm back to expose the joint.
make sure you do not pull to hard as you will streacth the plastic
Step 2:
next you will see the inner part of the body cavity.
what you want to do here is gently ( and i do mean gently) take a flat head screw driver to the part where you see the plastic (body side) pulling.
Now slowly use the screw driver to wedge the arm joint from the body (make sure yo do not pry it)
also be sure you do not pul to hard on the arm, You are working it it, not forcing out (prom night in reverse)
you will see the joint of the arm exposed.
step 3:
slowly twist (dont pull) the arm out until it is clear from the body.
you want to work out the joint so it clears safely from the body.
be extra careful you do not stretch or break the joint or arm joint.
also note: do not paint on the joint or arm joint,
do not paint on the inside of the cavity of the body,
you will need to be able to put the arm back in easily.
to put the arm back in, simply just push it in till it fits in place.
(you dont need to wedge it back in in)
just got mine today.
Im going remove teh arms gently, if it breaks il let you all know...
in case it des, im just glue it back on in a position...
but painting em with out taking arms off can be extremely difficult for my design
thanks guys
Ill try post some new stuff shortly
here is the raccoon pumpkin
ok, some reason my pics are not uploading, so ill try again later
just a concept for Halloween
its the evil raccoon in a pumpkin.
was some one else idea, i just sketched it

any tips
here i did a fast fast sketch of the processes for ya
1. start with my rough outline,
this where i get the basic idea, and mapping of what im drawling.
this can be very rough, and it is just sketching, so dont worry about detail here, just get the porortions down.
notice the ear, goes from eye brow to nose,
the line telling me where the eyes are lined up.
also notice the extra work done on the jaw line.
eyes, and jawline are most importain ina face.
no matter how good you draw and color a pic, if the eyes and and face are off, it will never look good.
2. i added a new layer,
this i "inked" over my rough sketch, here we pic our best lines we like.
you will notice even the ink'ed layer may change from the rough, that is ok to do.
aftter this step we delet our sketch, and color.
i didnt color
the 3rd pic is just the same ink'ed layer, juts moved so you can see final to rough sketch
hope that helps.
pay mind that even though anime, some real rules apply.
1, the ear is from nose to eyebrown,
2, the neck comes from behind the ear
3, hair doesnt grow directly behind the ears.
un realistic chnges
1, the hair, not apply by the rules of gravity, or even flowing with the shape of teh head 100% correctly. this is for appeal, so thats why it happnes
2. the inside neck (by the chin) is under the chin, real life this woulnddt be so, but in anime going out side the chin gives a thick look, again this is done for appeal.
3, jaw line is not all prodomanent, again for apeal and to show some angle. in order to make it look more appealing and less "thick faced" we try minamize usless lines,
4. nose has been move sligtly off the line down the middle. again its for appeal.
hope that helps
just a few things to note when seeing this.
me and my partner both ha d aepic crazy week in real life ( it does exist)
so we was not able to complete
sorry guys
but pair us up next time..we wil rule
