This is an interesting idea. I wouldn't call it copying because pretty much every site has this. Although many of my favorite series will end up on the front page anyway; which is probably why we don't have it.

The speed isn't an issue for me but the fact that it only has flash 6 or something is really lame.

I wouldn't be so quick to blame Tom, the ad company is in control of what ads are showing up on a site. Although I do find it a little stupid to have ads with sound appear on a site that is based around watching cartoons and playing games.
